Tesco are just really crap. I mean you go in their stores the big hypermarket ones at around christmas and they are rampacked full of cheap electrical goods and a lot of variety. Go there in March and there is nothing interesting, even the food is crap. No wonder most people shop online and import their food from direct from other European countries these days.

Yeah, Tescos is crap, I should know, I work for them. I absolutely hate my job, I don't even like Tesco as a company, yet if I ever want to go to uni it's my only bloody option. It shut down every other bloody shop in Baldock, so I'm stuck there.

Surely some of the only food shops to proudly sell bull testes, lambs brains, ewes cheese and pig snouts yet not stock a single carton of soya milk:) Still, the supermarkets are much better. Served me well as a pescatarian. I used to walk around for what seemed like hours trying to locate a certain salmon readymeal. But when i was in Paris recently it was worse for me than Britains trashy shops

Nearly all food shops are total crap these days. Grow yer own like!

so, what else is new? come here to the u.s.a. it's just as shitty here as it is in th u.k. over here our tesco goes by the name of wal-mart (or as i call it "shit-mart".) i went into wal-mart only once in my life. i have never back in since, and i hope i will never have reason to go back into one again! i felt the same way the first (and only) time i ever went into tesco. i thought to myself "hummm... this is shit-mart u.k. style!"

Haha we get the odd thing from Waitrose every now and then, but only when we can afford to be lazy because its a 2 minute walk away:D You do get some right funny characters in there though, talking about while joint of lamb to use for their candlit dinners and arguing over which kind of sauce would be appropriate for the occasion:rolleyes:

Morrissons I like the socialism of it, in there nobody is treated like a criminal.

Sainsbury's have security guards that follow you round and watch you shopping. I wrote an email once that asked them "When I go into one of your stores tell me, am I a valued customer or a suspect, because if you persist in treating me like a suspect I will cease to be a customer" after that they warned the security to stay off peoples backs and they stay by the door now. Tesco is the same

Dont shop at the others they are way crap or hahaha too posh for me - liek marks and spencers
