It's Rob Zombie's best movie by far. Devil's Rejects has no clue what kind've movie it wants to be. An ode to good old fashioned murder? A twisted sideshow Laverne and Shirley? The Halloween remakes take everything that made the Shape scary away. He was scary because he was just a man - yet a killing machine. He symbolized our self-destruction; our danger to each other. He turns him into a stereotype. But House of 1000 Corpses is a love song of B-horror and a conquering addition to the genre. It even manages to encompass both slashers and mad doctors in its beautiful dark and neon horror. Not his best song though =P
