    Hi Mumas

Did any of you use TENS machines during child birth? Did they help you at all?

    Thanks, love and peace x

I haven't seen a TENS machine in years. I used to hear mixed feelings about them. Most hospitals don't use them anymore, but it is worth looking into.

Brighid? Paging Midwife Brig! (She'll know more about it than me.)

I used one!!! I found it useful through the early stages of labour. If nothing else it give you something to focus on. The hospital didn't supply mine, I hired it so I had it at home, which was great. I think its definitely worth a try.

Yeah I've heard that TENS machines are benefical during early labour. I'm hoping to go for a water birth so I'll see if I can use the combination. TENS machines in the UK are still quite popular.

    Love and peace x
