Yes. At temps above 85 (without CO2 augmentation) growth slows.

    You need flo-through ventilation.

My grow room is 90 degrees due to the outside tempertures at the moment. But as I have a good exhaust fan there is plenty of fresh co2 this allows rapid growth at these higher temperatures.

you can use the new CO2 tabs that you can drop in the tank (if you do hydro) so you wont have to buy CO2 equipment. These are only sold on Ebay now and are made by 'No Mercy Supply'..i have been using them as my room is a bit hot too...seems to improve things a bit

Never heard of them. Wonder if you can just add them to water.

Vegas, if you live in adry area create a frame around intake and drape a wet towel so that it will pull air through towel there by cooling air into room.

Buff you can't use this idea, you may if you wish but the humidy where you are will just turn the air to muck.

just another thought from your freindly neighborhood tree swinger!

Naturalhi the humidity in my room varies between 10% and 20% very dry. I don't know why its so dry but as it causes no problems and prevents mould I'm not complaining. I have a aeroplane propeller of an extractror fan in a small room a must for a good grow room.
Got excited when i saw the word swinger.

Hmmm! didn't know UK had a desert, well like ED says they won't perish until 125+ so your warm weather grows might turn out more sparse than cool weather grows, yeah thats it sounds good to me!

For perfect mj one must create perfct environment. Any component or situation thats not perfect will br not perfect, the question is how far is the grower willing to go and where is cost v perfection blow your budget to kingdom come! At this point ask yourself what can be changed or sacrafised for the greater good! Example:

will buying an AC unit (could be attached top intake portal of room) pruduce enough extra mj to justify cost of buying and running cooler? After all, out of 3-4 crops per year only one needs coolness. The same goes for warming in cooler months.

Somebody offered me an AC unit for £50. But don't really think it will make a much difference to harvest weight. Theres an old English saying. 'If it ain't broke don't fix it.'
