Fort Wayne Indiana. Now most probably think that Indiana's population is made up of farmer-hicks wearing overhauls and chewing on a long piece of grass. They are in fact right for the most part, but this excludes some of the cities. Fort Wayne is the second largest city in the state behind Indianapolis. Downtown FW is like any major city, but smaller. Just inside the city limits (was just outside before the annexation) is a "township". That is where I live. It's full of rich, close-minded assholes with big houses. To dissent from the common opinion which is spoonfed to the majority results in ridicule. The people of FW are fat fucks too. I believe Fort Wayne was the fat capital of the country at one time, I think we're down to third now. Of course, the fatasses can't take ALL the blame. Theres a new restauraunt built about every month here. There are also two malls, one of them closer to downtown FW, and the other right here where I live. Both malls are surrounded by restauruants. A good part of the stores inside the malls sell food. It's not just malls though. The food is everywhere. I can think of SIX differnet mcdonalds restaurants in the area, and there are probably more I'm not remembering. The land is completely flat and uninteresting. On the highway and out of the city a ways, you will rarely see anything other than endless cornfield deserts.

I live in the lovely town of La Lima, Honduras... it's an unofficial suburb of the large city, biggest commercial city in Honduras... San Pedro Sula.

I live in the American Zone, which is a clsoed zone inside La Lima. The Zone contains the largest golf course in all of central america.

Young people here do one of 3 main things:

    1) Football... the national passion, there are 5 fields... and alot of people top lay with...

    2) Pool...there's a small pool, which is nice to chill at.

    3) Drink... anywhere... drinking is bloody popular here... it's a social thing, there's no social gathering without a nice touch of booze.

There are no big stores and no restaurants in Lima... when lima bores us, we go to San Pedro Sula (20 minute car ride) to enjoy the nightlife... clubs, bars, etc...

I live in the town of Arcata on the Northern California coast. The town is about 16,000 people (which is extremely small by Cali standards). Most of those people are college students and/or homeless people.

It is in the redwoods and is very beautiful. Sadly though, it is not old growth redwoods. It has been logged over several times. Still fantastic though. And the beaches are amazing. Very very rocky which is just the way I like them.

A lot of people don't like it here because it rains a lot of the time and never gets warm (the record high temperature is 84 F)

Unless you like nature, you would probably be bored here. Even though it's a college town, there is almost no nightlife of any kind. The streets are dead at night, which doesn't bother me at all. There are some scuzzy bars though.

People definitely come here for the nature (and losers come for the drugs :p )

I love it here and don't wish at this time to live anywhere else.

I was born in Houston, Texas and lived there for nine years. The neighboor I lived in was horrible and I couldn't play outside alone for the risk that I might be kidnapped. Then we moved to Overland Park, Kansas. It's boring and there's not much to do but me and my friends just find things to do like hacky sack or other stuff.

I was born in Southampton (south of England, you know where the Titanic sailed from) and now live about twenty miles away in a very boring suburb pretending to be a village.

It's not bad round here. According to the tourist info were near the sea, forest and other quaint historic type places. Which true, but after 18 years the novelty kind of wears off.

Youth activities, I'm not very sociable but rumour has it there are things to do. There's a skate park fairly local, youth clubs and after school things.
Then in Southampton itself there's a huge shopping centre, cinema, clubs and stuff.

From that it actually sounds pretty good. It's nice enough place I can happily tolerate. But I don't intend to live here forever. There's a big world out there you know.

I was born in Sichuan province, China (my mom's Chinese, dad's white American), and my family moved back to the US six months after... heh I haven't seen my birthplace since so I can't really describe it.

My folks move around a lot, but the town I've spent most of my childhood in is Champaign, Illinois, so I guess that's my hometown. It's where the sprawling U of I campus is, my dad's a professor there. Outside of the campus, the town's pretty dull. I've heard my town described as a liberal hotbed (the campus) in a land of conservative rednecks. It's boring me to death this summer, just complete eventless Midwestern flatness. Can't wait to get back to college in the big city (the 'Burgh).

i live in a pretty wierd place. i was born here and now i go to a private school for girls-only and watch them get spoiled rotten by their families who care only about one thing: money. but then again, if you know where to go in this place you'll always find some interesting people, even if they are slightly olderor younger. i sing, play bass, .. with my band.. others probably go shopping.
its however, a really good toursit place if you come at the right times. there is an awesome jazz festival going on right now, and there are tons of street sales and stuff.
it has a little bit of everything. youve got your paris scenes, little italy, isreal, tibet, poland, britian, mexico, ethiopia, mini brooklyn, and everything else all in one.
when i move out of my home in a few years, as much as i want to move to austrailia and europe, it will be hard to say good bye to this truly wonderful place.

I live in Buenos Aires, capital city of Argentina. Its a really cool place to live, we have lots of sports to do and the nigths are very crazy, lots and parties, clubs, and all kinds of people.
The most common thing to do before going to a party its getting drunk, or high (i enojoy both).
Anyway, the bad side its that here we dont have too many cool concerts due to the exchange of local money and us dolar... but anyway there lots of cool argentinian bands.
We also have a lot of wild life (not exactly in the capital) and beautiful sigths.
If anyone want to visit Argentina (its very cheap for people who have dolars, with this i mean having dinner with 2 dolars :p) and want some advice i could help :D

    I live in Gloucester, Virginia.

Conservative goathumper redneck trashy capitol of the face and core of the planet.

I live in the upper-classish area of this part of the county... Gloucester C.H. (courthouse)... most of the families around here are doctors, lawyers, and people that are descended from the county founders.... they all have the same names or are descended from the same names..... Booker, Clements, Rowe, West.... those are all names that originate out of Gloucester county. My step-great-grandfather's last name was booker and then matthews county is sort of the same way and a lot of Snows originate from there. Though, my family isn't really old blood here. My grandmother lived in Chilhowie, VA so the only reason we live here is because we owned a big farm here and sold it and since we had already settled here, just found a better place to live.

It's somewhat of a boring community. Everybody's form of entertainment seems to consist of visiting wal-mart or going to those fruity golf courses/clubs or the yacht place or w/e.

I don't like it around here for those reasons.

I was born in Atlantic City, shortly after I moved St Paul, Minnesota. After 3 years went to Fayetville NC. 2 years later moved to Okinawa, stayed there for one year and went to Ft. Richardson Alaska for 3 years(my favorite place so far). After that we moved to Ft Drum, upstate New York, were there for about a month then were sent to Stanten Island. I was with my parents for a little while but they sent me to live with a family friend in Harlem for almost 5 years. I moved back in with my parents last May and moved with them to Sparta, Wisconsin where I live now.
In Sparta the people like to do the following things:
One half of the kids are hick, who ride fourwheelers, the other half are skateboarders or people who suck at skating but are cool with the skaters(which would be me). Everyone in the school drinks, and most smoke weed. There are some coke heads too. This town is pretty much fucked, if it wasnt close to an army base the town would be even more fucked, since most of the youth in this town are headed only to a life of drugs. There are also some kids who help their family farms, and the farms are keeping this town alive. There is a small population of Hmongs, and they are all related and work/run Asian Buffet or the Eastern Chinese Buffet(run by the same family, but Eastern Chinese is nasty). The cops are ran by the principals, so if the principals and teachers of the school dont like someone they are going to get no breaks at all from the police. But yeah thats my town

I live in Jacksonville Beach, FL...this is probally the best place to live on the east coast without a doubt. It is as close to a utopian society as you can get.
    Reasons for that statement....
    1) the island we live on is about a mile and a half wide.
2)You can surf everyday...when there is swell
3)Growing up here is like taking a step back into time...everyone knows everyone(THink the late 60's)
4)I can walk on the beach or swim in the ocean whenever I want...
5)THe people here are by far the most unique and diverse people ever...most people havent left this place since the 60's...the roots run deep in family's here.
6)The drinking rules are very very lax...
7)Sone of the finest buds around...(shiskaberry is my fav.)
8)the summer around here lasts all year round...always a party to go to...
9)THe local festivals.....we even have a hempfest....check it out someitme...lots of old heads around here.
10)you grow up living the beach lifestyle...where surfing is more important than school...and that is acceptable...because we make money surfing out here for our local sponsors check us out at....http://www.fluidgroove.net

    peace.............

I live in Birmingham in England(2nd largest to London). It is totally a preppie town. It is the futhest away from teh ocean which is a shame as i love my surfing. I shouldn't really complain becuase we have everything we could possible need in Birmingham. It getting pretty crap here now with all the gun violence, withing the last few days there has being another two big incidence where shots have being fired (Americans may not think this is strange but guns are banned in England)

    I live in Rushville, Illinois.
Probably 60% of the population is made up of people 50 and older.
    This town is very conservative.
    95% are Christian.
It gets really muggy in the summer.
The only thing to do is hang out at the square, which is an ordeal in itself because dropouts and the people who graduated 5 years ago and still think they're kids hang out there and drink.
There's a church on every corner.
    Everyone's nosy.
    I hate it here.

I was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, but grew up in Salem NH and Sandown NH. Salem was kinda big, I liked it a lot.
Sandown was small but I had friends.

People in Rushville suck. Cry for me.
