Just went to the most amazing festival in the forest in North Ontario, Canada. Filled with hippies, great vibes, great drugs, great music, good communal cooking, lakes, air mattresses and canoes, and no sleep for 3 days. We should all definitely spend more time in the forest. Before anyone complains, the only pollution was noise pollution, everyone cleaned everything up.
I'll try to find some, myself I was far too stoned to be taking pictures, I don't think I've ever ingested that many drugs in one weekend. Monday was pretty horrible, but it was definitely worth it, even if I'd had a hangover/comedown for a week. Well maybe not, but possibly.
It's true that other countries put on better festival. Fuji Rock Festival was boom diggy, as was Nagisa dance festival.
I know I'm committing an unforgivable faux-pas here, but it really does seem to me that Canada is a lot more hippie than the UK. Maybe it's just the people I'm with, but everyone seems to hitch longterm and live more self-sufficiently, even all the people I meet in the city (Toronto). I didn't mean everyone, but lots of young people. London seems much more punk in comparison.
