Has anyone else seen these lame burger king commercials? With some guy actict like eating angus is a diet. First burger king sucks, even if it is "grade A beef". and second, what a sure fire way to get vegetarians NOT to go to burger king. But alas, were in america, where most people eat meat so it doesnt matter if they loose other custumors. but I dont wanna talk about that, I just thought it was funnie how lame these commercials were.
television is aimed at meat eaters. more often than not it is almost as if vegetarians do not exist across the country and the world. or that we don't watch tv. we need to start out own non-meat commercials to put on tv to show people that we exist.

Oh my fucking god, that's the worst and most hilarious commercial ever made! First he pronounces everything wrong, like "burga", "pleasure", "anithen." There are Buddist monks in the background???? What the hell, wouldn't they be appauled with him eating a burger right in front of them? Guess Burger King forgot what buddism is... Then he's what, raping a super model? Wrestling a crocodile? This guy's not only an asshole, he's INSANE!!

Silk Soymilk commercials are on every once in a while, but they don't say anything about being nicer to the cows, they just say it's healthier for you. Peace and Love, Dan
Every time I see that dumb-ass commercial it makes me wonder how many people will actually say "oh my goodness, a diet where I just eat hamburgers!!" and then actually do it. You know that there are people who don't read the fine print at the bottom: "The angus diet is not a real diet." "dr. angus is not a real doctor." It reminds me of Tom Cruise's character in Magnolia..."respect the angus" and "respect the cock."
I just saw this commercial for the millionth time tonight. Right after he says "respect the angus" he takes a big ol' bite of the poor angus cow. I guess he meant something else. And when he yells "and how many of you want bacon on that?" Makes me shudder. But I used to be a cheeseburger lover too....I just see things soooo differently now. It's lovely being a vegetarian.
Even if I quit being a vegetarian, I would not eat from fast food places like that. Even though it's meant to play on the atkins diet, it's maybe the crappiest thing put on television. With that shitty zen garden with dead animal in the middle. Makes me shiver.
BK didn't spend a chunk of change for a joke. They spent it to sell hamburgers. Subtle difference but it's there. There was a few KFC spots that got pulled not so long ago when they tried to push their foods as a healthier alternative to burgers: http://www.courier-journal.com/business/news2003/11/20/biz-front-KFC20-4551.html But if BK can slip the message with their tongue far enough in their cheek it comes out as a poor attempt at humor and slips by. Not a f'n joke, just spin and well, fecal matter. Personally I have never wanted a burger since that fecal matter recall a few years back when the news article said it was above the allowable percentage. Since when did shit in our food have an allowable percentage?
These commercials make me fucking sick, did you know that they actually made a fucking BOOK on it? SERIOUSLY. YOU CAN BUY THE BOOK IN THE COMMERCIAL IF YOU CALL THE NUMBER. Its fucking horrible.
LOL and they say veggies don't have lives. I've seen those too, and it seems like the cow is actually annoyed about it. Stupid advert. Never seen the BK commerical, thankfully. They probably don't show it here (U.K)
