Hi all, So I have a 15 yo daughter who has periods. She has recently embraced the nudist lifestyle which has raised a few questions. My wife was away on a night shift today, so she approached me earlier this morning for help, which is why I'm asking here just for some information before my wife gets home to help herself. My daughter can not wear maxi-pads since she's in the nude. She herself does not want to wear clothes anymore so that's out of the option. So far she has been using tampons. She said that she hates the look of having a piece of string coming out of her vagina in front of us. She said that she especially hates it when she sits down/crosses her legs and exposes her vulva, where she says that "it looks like a worm is wiggling out of me for everybody to see". To be completely honest, I'm surprised she is still somewhat self aware now that she is a nudist, but I can't force her into anything, I just want what's best for her. She also said that her tampon strings sometimes get stuck onto other things such as the couch, which is embarrassing. What other options do we have?
she’ll just have to either accept that the string is hanging out, gets caught on things and looks like a worm or wear a thong or normal underwear. Not sure there’s any other options apart from just bleeding all over everything.
Welp. Thank you anyway. My wife said the same thing. She has accepted it now. When she can, she said that she just tucks the string a bit further into her labia so that it doesn't catch on to stuff when she's sitting.
Hide the string betwen your labia or in your vagina. Cut off the outer part of the string after putting it in. Use a menstrual cup or a menstrual sponge instead of tampons. And yes, of course a 15yo menarching girl will ask her father about these things, no doubt.
My household was not distinctly nudist but as ive mentioned elsewhere nudity was not discouraged, my sister had this issue and it was sorted as being a necessity of hygiene. Sport shorts went on, just the same as you'd put a towel or blanket down on furniture any other time, or wear an apron in the kitchen, there are times when some clothing is a necessity and makes things a lot easier and that was one of those times.
Hi, of course you are right with the possibility to wear shorts, or panties or a bikini bottom. It’s even accepted at the nudist resorts I know and common practice at nude beaches etc. over here.
