Technical Questions regarding 5-meo-MIPT (Moxy)

Hello,

1.) Does anyone know of 5-meo-MIPT (Moxy) has cross-tolerance effects with LSD and if so how significant?

2.) Does anyone know the correct method for smoking Moxy?

1. all psychedelics are cross tolerant because they all make use of the same neural system; 5HT.

2. same as meth, crack, dmt . . . oil pipe

 

I personally don't notice much in the way of a tolerance with most psychedelics; even with two consecutive days of dosing. [though this isn't something i do very often].

at least with things like 2c-x, and tryptamines...that excludes MDx compounds though, and i've experienced a mild tolerance with lsd once, but it was such a low dose that i may not have gotten very high to begin with.

my ketamine tolerance builds very fast, but that's a different story entirely.

i've known people who have gotten fairly strong long term tolerances to most psychedelics.

 

Okay, i know that psychedelics exhibit tolerance within classes. For example, tryptamine cross tolerance and phenethylamine cross tolerance.

But, here's the thing: Scientists and trippers alike cannot seem to agree if LSD is a tryptamine or a phen. It has structural components similar to both.

So, i was wondering if anyone had maybe been tripping hard over several days and perhaps chased Moxy with LSD and if so did they notice cross-tolerance/weakening of effects of the 2nd psychedelic? The answer will be helpful for festival activity planning.

i've taken LSD one night, and 2cb the next afternoon, and personally think i had cross tolerance. but i'm not sure


if you think LSD and mushrooms (psilocin) have cross tolerance, then 5meomipt, 2ce, 2cb, DMT, DPT and DOI would all probably give cross tolerance as well.
from a paper i read, these were all some of the "least selective" psychedelics when it comes to receptor binding

 

Almost certainly to some degree, how much depends on how much, how often, snd how recently you used. An oil pipe is a lousy way to smoke crack, btw.

 

Why are you trying to smoke moxy? It's so amazing just taking it orally.

 

It takes about 3 days of consecutive dosing to get me to have a tolerance for 2cs, and doing LSD one day and shrooms the next didn't seem to have a cross tolerance issue.
