Ok, for the last like 2 and a half weeks, i have been going everywhere with my teady bear. no joke

to the hardware store, school, grocery story, sister's house, friend's house, basically everywhere but the bathroom and when i take a shower.

All of my friends think i am having a mental break down because of the bear. But i'm acting the same

    What do you think

my good friends call me bear... so i take my bear everywhere....
and i have a bear ring, mabey you should get something smaller like a bear shaped figure or something, to help break you of the huge bear, and move to something more symbolic and just as effective

In Japan, it's cool for girls to carry teddy bears around even when they're 18 or 19-- it makes them look vulnerable, which means boys will like them.

Teady Bear ...or....Teddy Bear? A serious question as I've always spelled it "Teddy".

Oh and there's a little red line under Teady. The grammar Nazis strike again!

    Teady, actually
    I named him Austin.

OMFG! I went to the mall today with my friend Hannah and I told her to hold Austin while i tried on a shirt [Kick ass shirt btw, it says Trees rock!]. As we were leaving she asked me where my bear was. I was like "I told you to hold austin." and she just said "oh shit"

I seriously almost started crying, i ran all the was back to the mall and into like very dressing room and all over. I was almost in tears when hannah asked the people at the desk if they had seen a teady bear and they gave me Austin and i was so relieved.

I almost had a heart attack when i realized she didn't have him.

teady bear? i don't know about that. there is this bag-lady downtown, who always hangs out around the library, with her doll. by the way she acts, i'm quite sure she does not take here meds. you don't sound like your anywhere in the same boat as her! i have 4 cats that sleep with me; and when there is a thunderstorm i also have a scared dog that sleeps with us. whenever i sit down, i have a cat in my lap. whenever i walk out of the house, i have the 2 cats across the street that follow me. alot of cats in my case, and an occasional dog too. i have not yet been labled "the catman"...yet. but i might be. you might get labled "the teady beargirl." you were fore warned!

I don't even have one bear I hate stuffed animals.. but you are like 14 so you're still... crap I dunno

Could it be to do with the person in your signature? It sounds very much like seperation anxiety to me.
I sleep with a teddy and a seal, not ashamed of it.

teddys are good. i still carry mine around the house sometimes. sometimes its cos i need comforting, sometimes just cos its cute and cuddly. if its cos you miss someone its good cos it means you're not being comforted by drink. just make sure it doesnt get too obsessive.

the mysterytramp, you just labled yourself "the teddy bearboy." it won't be long before your labled "the teddy bearman." no big deal. there are far, far, far, worst things to be labled! (like murder and wife beater.) come to think of it... i did lable myself "the catman" in an earler post here.

The teady's name is Austin, as the guy in your picture. Having the bear with you, makes you feel like he's with you. Which would make it sentimental. If you don't mind my asking, how did he die?

    Unfortunatly, Suicide.
He hung him-slef from the rafters in his room in the basement with the rope to him hammock.
i can't even look to where the hammock used to hang without tearing up and thinking about how he hung there

I've been sleeping with the same teddy bear since I was one year old. Lol. It would mean I have had a breakdown all my life.
