you need to use milk in your tea because the THC will bond with the fat, which you digest and get high.

I've never done shrooms but I would juts eat them. I've heard they taste like shit so tea probably wouldn't be too yummy.

It is possible to make tea with mushrooms because psilocybin and psilocin are water soluble. However, THC is not water soluble, but it is fat soluble, so that is why milk or something else with fat must be used for tea (or anything else) with pot.

You can make mushroom tea. However if you have mushrooms why would you go through another process and risk fucking them up?

You can't make marijuana tea without some sort of fat to bond it to. Like someone said, milk works, but you have to heat the milk up with the cannabis beforehand for it to combine. Throwing the ingredients together won't do shit.

It's pretty hard to mess up putting mushrooms into a pot of hot water.

Except that anything can fuck up. Overboil them and destroy the chemicals? drop them on the floor? pouring out the mixture? It doesn't matter if its hard or easy, its just more shit when you can just eat them.

I understand your point, but don't you think that you are being a little bit too cautious? Maybe somebody new to heating water should practice on some tea bags first, but I think that it is definitely worthwhile to make mushroom tea. The taste can be quite sweet and flavorful as opposed to the repugnant taste of Psilocybes and the nausea generally associated with mushrooms is reduced if not eliminated. Furthermore, steeping mushrooms in water hastens the onset of the effects, but this is at the cost of reducing their duration. Sometimes I do prefer eating them instead, but tea is something that you should at least try if you like mushrooms.
