I just watched it, I have like 3 questions, some of these can go in a different forum, but
    1. what kind of patches does he have on his coat, I know there some type of army deviation, or company, or something, but what one?
    2. why does he make that X on the top of the bullets?
    3. why does he burn the polish before he polishes his shoes? and why does he use a clear one, and one black one at the some time?

It's been a while since i've seen the movie, but i think they were marine corps patches. You X bullets if you want them to break apart easier, inflicts more damage to an unarmored target. And obviously you don't shine many shoes :) Setting the polish on fire softens the polish.

yeah, but it's from a certain company, or deviation or something I'm not sure what there called or if I'm using the right word, but you know how they have like little pictures for the different ones and some number like the 78th deviation or something like that...
