Tat Idea

I really want this tattoo, felt this way since before I turned 18. When I turned 18 I was gonna get it fully paid by a friend but the fucking artist was always making excuses and i just stopped going. I made some modifications to it but I want it to be better modified. I did it on MS paint so bare with it please but let me know what you think. I want it on my lower left leg. I want the sweet emblem to be proportioned with the center of Texas if you understand. As in bigger and straight center where the leaves are surrounding the Texas and not all in it get me .The leaf matter is also going to be in gold but i couldn't color it very well. If someone wants to draw it out and modify it be my guest, id love having a tattoo drawn by an artist. Maybe some smoke surrounding it? I dunno just at least lemme know what you think of it. I know I posted this in the other section but I would like to get the response of other dreadies seeing as this is my favorite forum and this specific section is my #1 bookmark Just let me kno wassup and if you can draw and have free time help a brutha out

Hi there! Speaking from experience....id say wait on it. Do you really want a smoking paraphenalia tattoo? I know it seems cool to you now...but what about 5 years from now? What will you tell your future children? I dunno...if you really want it....do it and good luck! But I have 3 tattoos that I got when I was younger and a HUGE pot head....and uh....now I freakin HATE them! Im having 1 of them turned into something else, and the other 2....I might have removed completely! Id just hate for you to make the same mistake I did.

 

Same. I have a Marilyn Manson tattoo I got when I was 17. I'm 22 now and I detest it. As a general rule I wait a year between designing a tattoo and getting it etched. Be careful a year is a long time to an 18 year old. I thought I'd love MM forever. I grew up.

 

exactly! When I was 16 I went to visit some friends for 420 and ended up getting a tattoo by some asshole who was hitting on me the whole time...I got a lil stoner daisy on my ankle....lame. Then, when I was 17 I went through a horrible breakup. I was soooo devastated and drunk! I got the notion that any pain would be better than the heartache....so in a moment of brilliance I decided to go get a tattoo. So....my drunk ass walked 3 miles with a water bottle filled with jack and coke...thus perpetuating the drunkness....and arrived at some hole in the wall tattoo place. The tat guy had to have known I was drunk! I was crying and slurring my speech and telling him about my ex! hahaha...I used to be such a lost soul. Anywho....he gave me a tat anyways of some lame ass design that I picked off the wall that had no meaning to me whatsoever. Plus I think the tat guy was drunk too when I look back at it....he was kinda weird and had a very rosey face. So , now I have a drunken sailor tattoo of some stupid tribal flower on my back and a smiley daisy on my ankle...ick. But as if that wasnt enough....[ahh the genius of adolesence] when I was 18 I decided to get my zodiac sign with the constellation [Go Taurus!] on my shoulder.....so I got high as a kite, drew the design then went to the tat place. Once there, I thought it a good idea for some reason to get my tat artist stoned too....so we lit up and then he went to town on my back! Needless to say the design looks like somebody drew on my back with magic markers. Bwah! So...long story short.........dont get fucked up when going to get a tat, think long and hard before you get anything on your body, and please oh please dont make rash decisions when intoxicated, under age, and emotional. Ok....im done ranting now. Merry flippin Christmas everybody!!!!!

Imma be a swisher smoker til I die so ye i wouldnt get it if I really didnt want it Swisher sweets everyday day of the week so ye plus Texas Born N Raised so I see alot of texas tats but I think this is more unique and incorporates 2 things I hold dearly ha but ye gonna get it cause I got sum cash now so well see whats up gonna see how much they charge

 

I like it. Make sure you get a really good tattoo artist becuase the newer guys aren't so good at tatooing text.
I think having smoke surrounding it would be pushing it, but that's just me. I like the simple concept you have up here.

Apologies. I have been drinking since 8am. (Christmas tradition) I would really wait before you jumped into anything though. The best thing to do is shop around and get different tattooists to draw it for you. From friends experience, I wouldn't recommend getting smoke done. Chances are not every tattooist is going to be like those from Miami Ink and not many tattooist can make it look like smoke, more like a 5 year olds colouring.

I had a tattoo that is very sentimental to me but they fucked it up. I'm so annoyed but I can't get it undone. I think what Stalk said was harsh, but I do think you could regret this tattoo

But anyways ye I found a really good artist and he drew it out looked badass thats why I want someone to draw it because he flaked on me cause he does alot of pills and kept the design and my deposit. So now I wanna get it redrawn and take it to this other local parlor who does really good color and ive personally been there when there doing friends color tattoos. I dunno Im positive im going to get it, Im just waiting for the perfect design

That Rasta lettering is a concept I might just go for white but I want it to be unique so ye but well see i just would like ideas on how to improve or get peoples designs you know. Dont have to bother with it, but dont gotta bash on me you kno?

Try smoking a fucking dutch. Damnnnnn hahahahaha. Like of all the cheap cigars, NO ONE rolls swishers or white owls. The only time ive ever rolled those, is one for each, when i went to a random gas station or something and its the only thing they had. And both times after all was said and done, i complimented the roller for being able to do so much with such a shitty wrap, and then wished we had just smoked bowls or jays, to which the roller agreed would have been better, we just wanted to smoke a blunt at an odd time in the morning.

 

Seriously, if your gonna get a weed related tatoo, at least "smoke on it" for a couple years before you do it, to give my advice in the least asshole way I could possibly say this.

Na i dont take it as you being an asshole your speakin your mind respectably. Lol I smoke alot of bud man and I smoke rillos more than blunts. White owl rillos burn long but I agree are pretty gay always dry and break easily. Swishers tho IMO roll the best, never run, and burn long for a rillo. I fuckin love dutchmasters and can roll them fairly nicely about 50 min burn between 3? I dunno, but they are far more expensive for my college funds if you get me. Lol ive been smoking for 5+ years and can honestly say ill never stop. If I do stop itll be because of passing drug tests or keeping a job, but thats not quiting its taking a break which honestly wont happen ha. For my taste and price 2.50 a 5 pack of grape sweets every day or 2 is affordable and rollable to my liking. Dutchmaster rillos are horrible so ye I cant say I like those very much, They burn nicely but are pretty hard to unravel compared to the Vanilla Dutch Perfecto or Corona but anyways I dunno man I like sweets plain and simple. To each is own, I personally dont dislike any blunt besides philly rillos, I can roll any of them pretty much to my liking but sweets are my number one so ye. Happy smokin
