So now that summer is here there seems to be a large rush on the instant tan commercials. So I guess either no one has time to go get a real tan, they fear the sun or lastly they just cant get away from the TV and web to go outside.
why would anyone wanna walk around with orange skin?? from a bottle?? ohh yeah heres a selling point,,im buff but im orange.. wtf??
40 some odd years ago one would have sadi the same about the sun so we dont know, or it can be covered up so no one will know. Beware, beware, lol
Suppose some of my Family/ Friends were just Lucky in having docs that recognized/ understood the potential long term problems. Unfortunately it was too late for a few. I do agree back then Masses were not being bombarded as they are Today...
I know a twenty five year old that is a tanning bed addict. I'm thirty three. She has deep lines around her mouth and worse forehead wrinkles than I already. ..The warnings went unheaded.

I use fake tanner for special occasions. Why? I'm of Scot decent and can not "tan" any other way. I freckle and burn even wearing sunblock.
I wear sunscreen on my face, neck, chest and inner thighs and just go in naked...no embarassing tanlines and no more horrible smelling self tanner plus I only go a couple times a month but it is addicting...especially in the winter I was going almost everyday until I found out it could age you pretty fast.
I'm pretty cautious of the sun, skin cancer runs pretty strong in my family. Even though I look a bit better with some color, I am pretty diligent about wearing sunscreen and would never consider using a booth, even if it is safer.
i rarely remember to put sunscreen on, unless i'm planning on being at the beach. i'm outside at work all day, and i still have to be reminded by my dad to put it on. his office is at the same site the sports camp is at, so i get to see him on breaks and stuff. dad - "i see that you're burnt" me - "yea, it hurts" dad - "did you put sunscreen on, i know i told you to before we got to work" me - "no but it still hurts" dad - "well, stop being a ditz and put sunscreen on" *smack to the head*
some of my friends are ADDICTED to tanning, even the ones who have naturally tan looking skin. i like my natural skin tone and even if i was pale as fuck i still wouldnt get in one of those tanning beds
