    Ehh.

Borat was good, but it was boring. It didn't require a film, having a 'plot' of any kind ruined it. While it was funny, it wasn't a patch on the series and that's not me being some sort of pathetic 'underground rebel', either.

I thought him playing oposite Farell was a better way to break America. I hope he does get into that sort of film more often.

I think him going public as Sacha, signing that Universal deal and agreeing to a fucking Bruno film, is him kicking the bucket.

Like I said, I think he'll do well in Hollywood though. The worst that could happen is that he becomes a Walken and makes shit films worth watching.

Totally disagree with you on your opinions about Borat, it was genius. Cohen is genius and I can't wait for Bruno to come out.
And it isn't as though he's just gone public...remember there was an Ali G film before this. It isn't like these characters have just been invented, he's been around for years.

It's not 'as if' he's just gone public, he has just gone public. He didn't do press as Sacha during the Ali G period. Infact, I don't recall much press at all because he was probably too busy getting death threats.

I seem to remember there being quite a few Sacha Baren Cohen interviews back when Ali G was about doing the television episodes. You have to remember that this was piloted in the UK, therefore you probably can't recall any interviews due to them all being shown in the UK about a couple years before they were even seen in the US.

Talledaga Nights was funny for what it was but as mentioned before, it was the same old character. Still funny but I thought Borat was a lot funnier.

Borat was funny... but the whole run of the jew...well that part upset me...cause im a baby. Actually I would never watch that movie again cause it went no where, but mostly funny.
As for Talladega nights I hated it.. STUPID! And I love will! But that was one of the worst movies I have ever seen...
