I've found this true in my life the last few months. I'm the kind of person that gets dreamnesia. (That's my term for when a person forgets what they've dreamd about). I've been out of work for a long time and started working with a specialist to help me get employed again. Before beginning work with him, I had had a good amount of dreams/nightmares about my working again. I have been able to remember at least some of these dreams to tell him about. It has seemed to me that since I've been discussing these types of dreams that I've had them more often. (???) I have thought that I may be having more of these types of dreams because my sub-concious is pleased to be shared with someone else. (???) That or it's some sort of sign to continue trying to work again. (???) Or maybe because working again has been "on my mind" and spoken of by me more so recently. (???) I've never been very good at keeping dream journals. -- I'm wondering if writing of certain dream topics could have a person have more of the same or if doing so can lead a person to move on to different dream types because one's sub-concious knows it's message(s) have been received. (???)
It could just be as simple as you're remembering more dreams because you're thinking about it more. Writing in a dream journal as much as possible will help you remember more and identify common themes.
