I've been here for a hwile but I hardly talk to anyone out side of these threads. What are your intrests, what kind of music do you like. what are you lookign forard to this summer. I don't know say anything, the one thing I can't do enough of before I die is talk!
Haha, well, I'm into everything independent. Most independent aspects of our culture intrigue me, include music, art, writing, film-making etc etc. I play guitar, and I have been for a few years. I played in a couple bands in high school, but kinda drifted from the electric to the acoustic. I wish I could sing better, or I would definitely pursue making music more often than just in my down-time. I'm also something of a writer in my spare time. In high-school, I always excelled at that, and I'm starting to regret not going to college and pursuing a degree in investigative journalism. I'm only 23 (not 27) and I am considering trying to get into UB. Other than that, theres not really a whole lot of incredibly interesting shit going on in my life... I work at a pizzeria, and sometimes doing roofing when additional help is needed for my uncles company. How about you bro?
My interests consist of..being lazy, getting fucked up, making others happier/helping someone out, basketball, football, baseball, TV(south park, seinfeld, cops, the simpsons, ESPN, family guy, and more), and doing stupid shit that could get me arrested. Music that i like is mostly rap(tupac, nas, snoop, the game, ice cube, 3 6 madfia, and gang starr). I also like many Dave Mathews band songs along with some random rock songs. I am looking forward to having fun this summer. That means getting drunk and blazed, crazy nights, and just partying. Luckily, thats been my whole summer so far.
/\ many similarities to mine lol, i smoke a lot, play lots of sports for fun with friends, drink rarely, but smoke more to make up for it, listen to lots of music, anything good, but i love good hip hop, doin fun stuff, i dont try to get into trouble, it finds me lol, i love partyin, and i want to make a difference in the world lol
I like to play classical guitar mostly. But I play almost anything that makes noise  I love reading. I live with my son who is 19 months old, but we lost our house in South Philly so now I am staying on a friends floor until I can get approved for a new place. Pretty much any free time I have after work and after my son goes to sleep is spent talking to my love girl , or deep in meditation, or reading the various Holy books. So yea, basically the only self interests I pursue is love, music, and discovering divine Truth. I used to be interested in all kinds of things, but when God calls you, its kind of hard not to follow, especially with a love as deep as I have developed :&
fallout you didn't mention anything about yourself i get involved in hobbies like bonsai, susekei (japanese rock display), sign language, and animal rights. and music too. im refinishing an old spanish guitar because i don't want to have to carry an amp everywhere. and i love any kind of art, from sculpting, music, bonsai, painting, everything... and philosphy... smoke me up and i'll talk philosophy with you forever. and i like watching Montel also. and my music is like... reggae and ska dude. and funky music. Marley, Sublime, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Fishbone, 311, Israel Vibrations, Barrington Levy, Matisyahu, etc... and some George Clinton and shit. it's all good shit. and im in college and i don't have a job and im a vegan and i smoke a lot of cannabis and i vote. what about you, fallout? what are you into?
I'm 18 and have just graduated high school. I'm scared of the world right now =p as I don't know what I want to do or how to turn the things I love in to a living. I like all kinds of music but lately its all about trance and progressive techno. I've been playing paintball for a few years but used to be alot more into it, but I still try to play a few big scenario games and ref a few times a year. My worst regret is not following some creative outlet form an earlier age, but I guess its never to soon to start. I'm also very interested in philosophy although I don't read nearly as much as I should. =x the last book I read was The Stranger by Albert Camus. I don't work right now and its the worst felling. It messes with your confidence, allot. I've stooped smoking until I can find a job, hopefully as a bar back then later as a tender. smoking has never gotten in the way of anything I want to do its a great tool of motivation. I can use to find a job and then as an outlet. I find Marijuana tobe jsut as strong of an influence hwen I'm not smokeing it. I'm applying for colleges and hope to attend a four year so I can get out of my house and see what life will be like on my own. I sometimes fell like I missed a stage in my growth and am being left behind. I need to be more mature.
Fallout, it doesnt really matter what happens. The only thing important is to not doubt yourself and to not give into fear. You want to taste being on your own? But you will when you are meant to. I was kicked out of my parents house right under 16 years old, and have been on my own since. Traveling the country, lots of drugs, lots of parties, lots of sleeping outside in the middle of cities. Now I have my own son to raise. Believe me, I wasnt mature enough to raise myself when my son was born. But people grow towards the Light, just like plants You'll be ok man. Just be happy with what you have and remember that you could always be worse off Good luck friend~
thanks for all your replys! I'm surprised how fast they came in! I'll reply to all of you when I finish some work I have to get done here.
My hobbies/activities/interests include: Thinking Eating Sleeping Smoking (Ganja often, and Cigars on the extremely rare occasion) Drinking (Very rarely) MUSIC Art Human Behavior Computer-ing Video Games I'm a music guy. Really into music. The technical aspects as well as the feelings I get from listening/Playing it. Prog is my preferred genre, but I enjoy random artists/songs from a few other styles (Swing, Gypsy Jazz, Electronic, Metal, ethnic, Video Game, etc.) Since I'm so into music, I'll list my favorite artists. Some of which, I'm very new to. (*) Dream Theater (I really like them. They used to be my favorite band, but I'm slowly drifting away from the Modern prog/Prog-Metal. Opeth (I'm familiar with, and enjoy the entire discography. The only exception being 'My Arms...' I just haven't gotten around to familiarizing myself with it.) Yes (Only familiar with albums before 'tales.' 'Close to The Edge' is my favorite) Meshuggah (I love those incredible machine-like grooves. Nothing else like'em.) Iron Maiden (My first metal band. I was 14 years old when I put a compilation CD on, and I instantly fell in love. They were my favorite band until I discovered Prog. ; ) ) Mastodon (Reminiscient of Maiden, except more progressive. I really dig it.) Il Volo* (Just checking these guys out now. Awesome Italian, Funk influenced prog. "Gente in Amore" is an incredible song to lisaten to while stoned.) Dun (Amaaaazing avant-garde prog. It's not so out there that it's completely dissonant and unstructured.) Camel* (I have the album 'Mirage' and I love it to death) Pink Floyd (Post-syd. My favorite album is animals.) Radiohead (I really enjoy their atmosheroc and more proggy works. 'Paranoid Android' to name one.) Riverside* (I have the album 'Second Life Syndrome.' It's awesome) Pain of Salvation* (I have the albums 'Remedy Lane' and BE.) Symphony X (I went through a phase with these guys. The stuff is a bit too cheesy for me to take seriously, now. I still have a place for them in my heart though. They do have some pretty wicked riffs, as well as some inspiring orchestral sections.) There are many more bands I frequently listen to, but I'm only familiar with a hnadful of songs, so I didn't mention them. (eg. King Crimson, Nile, Frank Zappa, Porcupine Tree, etc.)
ok before coming back to reply in detail I'm just guna say King Kamikaze lieks some very good music. : )

I felt the same way when I graduated high school. I STILL feel that way and I'm going into my second year of college. Anyway, I'm 18, and going into my second year of college (as I already stated). I'm a Spanish major by the way. I'm moving in with one of my best friends in the fall to start school. I can't wait. I just got a job about a month ago, and I love having my own money and not having to bum off my parents  I listen to mostly the doors, neil young, allman brothers (going to see them in august), nirvana, sublime, tom petty, lynrd skynrd, blue oyster cult, and pretty much any music from the 70s. I also like 80s hair bands  I like hanging out with my friends, doing things to help others, drinking heavily, smoking, sleeping, eating, and i'm the most lazy person you'll ever meet!
You guys are awsome, I wish I could meet you in real life, thers so much more you can discover about a person with actualy socialising face to face. I could type some random facts about myself but they wouldnt show who I truley am. btw kingkamakze does listen to some cool music
Same man same. About to go to college though so I hope it falls into place. What I like: Pretty much anything lol. Learning new things, music, art, medicine, drugs, hangin out, watchin TV, talking, I just like to do w/e. I like to be around friends and do pretty much w/e they want to do because I like almost everything.
I am actually 20 years old. I am an education major, going to be a junior. high school history or government. i am into politics, and that was a driving factor in my decision to become a teacher. i feel that i can make the biggest difference in helping the country not get any more fucked up than it already is by educating the youth of america. i am also very into music, as it seems most of us are. i play guitar (acoustic and electric), bass, harmonica, and djembe. listen to the following: Bob Dylan, Ray Lamontagne, Wilco, Neil Young, Phish, White Stripes, Early Black Sabbath, Joni Mitchell, Iron and Wine, Grateful Dead, Flaming Lips, and a ton of other stuff. I work as a waiter. I am trying to enjoy these last two years of smoking before i have to quit to get a job and be a high school teacher.
To become more sensitive and aware than I am now. To awaken new levels of sensitivity to light, sound, and energy while increasing my knowledge of every force in my life and every force I want to make a part of my life (ie. music, art, obtaining wealth and influence). To put it briefly, my goals are overall self development and improvement through stoned exploration.
