Did anyone watch this show when it was on? I fucking love this show and I often watch it in DVD format. The only problem is that I seem to be the only young person who likes this show. I also like the movies that came from this show, Demon Knight and Bordello of Blood.

It was a show based on a collection of comic books with the same name. It was similar to The Twilight Zone, meaning that it would feature different stories for every episode, and each one usually had elements of horror, science fiction, crime, suspense, or fantasy. The show was known for its use of dark humor, especially from the Crypt Keeper, who was the host of the show. There was a children's version called Tales From the Crypt Keeper, which was animated instead of live action. The original, however, was strictly for adults, due to violence, gore, nudity, vulgarity, and suspense.

show's cool. all that b horror stuffs pretty sweet like tales of the crypt and the lower budget stephen king movies. there was a dude...i always forget his name, but he was in a lot of b horror movies in like the 80s 90s. he had classic hero voice...almost so much so that it was kinda cartoonish sounding. his shit's sweet too. "that one guy" lol

i remember tales of the crypt being on sci fi and maybe tnt 10-15 years ago

I used to watch it when I was a teenager but I recently rented season II on DVD and it was lousy [IMG]

Leave it to teenage hormones and a one track mind to only remember the hot women - although the movie demon knight was good :2thumbsup:

Nah, both me and my girl watched it when we were way too young to =P

I gotta say, I like The Outer Limits better overall; but Tales from the Crypt can be fucking hilarious, and I've made it more of a priority to rewatch :)

There was also a kid's game show on CBS called Secrets of the Cryptkeeper's Haunted House that was way better than the Nickelodeon crap.

I somewhat remember that show on CBS, but barley. Wasn't similar to those old gameshows on Nickelodeon, such as Legends of the Hidden Temple?

Tales From The Crypt used to be one of the best shows on HBO. Half scary and half funny. Season One on DVD is a killer.

I've only watched it in reruns but it was on every night from 2:00-3:00am. Only missed it a couple of times during this run.

Hell yeah! That episode kicks ass! The scariest part is the end, where the killer is let in by the little girl.
