Does anyone have any experience eating mushrooms with oral OAS? OAS is an allergy to most uncooked fruits and vegetables that, shortly after eating them, they cause discomfort through itchiness and light swelling of the mouth and throat. I was planning on taking shrooms for the first time, but now am nervous because an allergic reaction to them would be a complete disaster. Anyone here have OAS and take shrooms?

Mushrooms are not fruit or vegetables. It would really depend on your body chemistry and OAS. It could easily still create an allergic reaction but it also might not react to a fungi.

If you make a tea you will not have to swallow the actual mushroom but you also will not have as strong of a trip. I would ask a doctor. If your doctor know you take psychedelic drugs it will change their opinion of other medications maybe. But you could ask a doctor you don't plan on seeing again. I don't think you will have an issue.
