I remember when a 40mg oxy would get me very high and would last me the whole night. Now I can't even feel those effects with 80mgs. Now its like I don't even enjoy the high, it just feels like I want to do more and more. Well I'm getting very close to screwing myself with an addiction problem, I need a break.

For the first two weeks I will be using seed tea to taper down, after that I will save only enough to get rid of withdrawals. I know my wds won't be nearly as bad as other people on this forum. But I have already experienced the tireless legs once and I really don't want to deal with that again.

After the two weeks is up, I'm going to have a full month with no opiates. Whenever I feel like I have no energy, I will work out. Exercise should produce some natural endorphins that will get rid of any mild withdrawals after that.

I plan on taking a low dose once this is over and seeing how it feels. The last time I took a break was last summer and I took a 10mg Opana, which had me nodding for hours.

Has anyone else gained good results from taking break?

of course man! taking a break is always good, especially when you can. some people deal with pain conditions that simply wouldn't allow them to take a break - even if they could handle the WDs. so yeah, take advantage of your health and your desire to chill out: it's as much a mental thing as any. i recently moved up to the city and took about a month's break. my first time back i did 15 and was high; i did 15 more and remembered why i liked opes so much in the first place.

    good luck man.
