Can I transport Salvia on a plane? I will have about 3 grams of 5x extract that I want to take to Florida for my spring break trip so I can trip with my cousin (first he will be the sitter, then me, we trust eachother). So, again, is there a way to transport it on a plane or will they just let me do it anyway?
Would they be able to smell it? Never smoked it before, in Florida iwll be my first time. If they found ti on me would I be arrested or not since it is legal to buy?
much easier to carry 1/2 or one gram of 5x which is ~10 to 20 esperiences and they wont smell it and why do you need so much? & why not try it before you go to all the trouble?
Caus eI am gonna be smokin it with more than myself. They say on every site I have ever read that to get a good beginners experience you should smoke 1/10-1/3 a gram. I am a big guy so I will smoke somewhere in between probablly plus every drug I have tried I ussually need more than the normal person to get the same effect. Plus I am gonna be there for a week, but your right, I will prolly only bring a gram to a gram and a half with me. I need a little extra incase I screw up, or it doesn't work the first time, or w/e. Oh yeah, what would happen if they randomlly search checked me and foudn the stuff?
Some possiblilities are it may resemble an illegal drug, so they'd get suspicous. An other it might interfear with the "No transporting forign plants to other ares" (but that's highly unlikely). If you just carry it on you, it shouldn't be too much of a problem... Also, it doesn't smell that potent or of anything that smells like an illegal drug, you should be fine! According to http://www.sagewisdom.org/legalstatus.html The United States - Louisiana, Missouri, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Delaware are the only states in the USA that have laws prohibiting possession of Salvia divinorum. Louisiana and Oklahoma have provisions in their laws that allow possession of the plant when it is not intended for human consumption. In Oklahoma, plain Salvia divinorum is legal, but extract-enhanced leaves are not. Salvia divinorum is entirely legal in all other states. Federal Legislation - In October of 2002, a bill was introduced to the United States Congress that proposed to place Salvia divinorum and salvinorin A in schedule 1 of the Controlled Substances Act. The bill was passed amongst various committees, but no action was taken on it. Ultimately, it died with the dissolution of the 107th Congress at the end of 2002. The author of the bill, Representative Joe Baca of California (democrat), has recently stated that he will not reintroduce the bill. The DEA is currently studying Salvia divinorum and salvinorin A, and considering whether or not they present a risk to public safety that would justify making them controlled substances (and consequently further infringing on the personal freedoms of American citizens). Given that there is no evidence that would suggest that Salvia divinorum presents a significant risk to public safety, I am hopeful that the DEA will be reasonable and not schedule this beneficial plant unnecessarily. If they do decide to schedule it, it will take a minimum of 30 days after they give public notice of their intentions (in the Federal Register) before the change of legal status takes effect.
you don't need to take a pipe with you, as you can make one out of a metal pen barrel or out of tin foil.
well if you have never used it before and depending if you are legal age to buy a pipe, you should be fine. but with them finding it it they might just want to do a further glove search if you know what i mean .... i dont recommend smoking with a tin foil pipe, one: Tinfoil burned can make toxic chemicals and two: salvia must be smoked with a water bong/bubbler i guess you could do it without one; but a water bong will give better results(it ups your chances of getting an experience by like 95%) i myself have never done it, i sit my friends all the time though... one hit out of a bong should be enough, hold the toke in for 20+ seconds. and your good to go.
You can use a regular pipe too, it doesn't make a difference. I even roll salvia cigarettes every once in awhile. Granted, cigarettes don't burn nearly hot enough to vaporize all of the salvinorin A, but sometimes it's nice to just walk around smoking a cigarette and only feel mild effects
Oh I was sayin (on the basis that it was illegal to smoke it), that if they found the plant on me at the airport and they were dicks they could say I had a pipe (even though I wont, therefore framing me) and get me in trouble for intent to smoke it. But since it is legal I am jsut gonna keep it in it's labeled package and carry it on or w/e. If they find it I will be like, biatches I can have that if I want!
oh i read it wrong, i dont actually know if it is illegal to smoke, im guessing it is legal just for the reason they do sell it, but then again they do sell it for "Incense" and not for human consumption(i think). you might want to do a little more research on it; check erowid.org.
