finally decided on a biochem major, after this semester i should be able to read and understand pihkal. could someone point me to some synthesis sites (not just phens)? given the supplies, knowledge, and legal immunity, what would you synthesize and why (for simplicity, rareness, favorite)?
what do you mean synthesis sites? are you familiar with the online copies of pihkal and tihkal on erowid? i would synthesize all of them just because id be able too.
i gotta say...i Have my biochem degree and i would be pretty skeptical about performing ANY of those reactions i'm sure. especially with the intent to ingest it?? i'll leave it to the TRUE professionals
synthing any chemical in pikal or tikal with intent to ingest would be highly risky, and i dont think it would be worth attempting for simply personal use.. not to mention i doubt youll be able to understand all the chemical reactions and be able to perform them (and have access to the materials) after one semester of biochem..
Id be pretty sketched out about actually pursuing this without a change of address after posting this thread. A great way to get a narc tracking your IP.

agreed. still, synthing the legal 2c's would be fine wouldnt it? except maybe having dangerous chems at home?
they are all analogs, and what would stop a prosecuter from saying that you were attempting to maufacture 2c-b instead of 2c-i? most RCs arent "legal", they are just not specifically scheduled
I never actually stated I was synthing anything, im very careful about that, unlike everyone else here, "wheres my package, how do I pay, how long should i wait, did i get jacked, finally bought something, where can i find..." they'll all be knockin on your doors before mine. My biochem major includes several classes including chem, organic chem, neurobiology, lab techniques, biochem reactions, among a shitload of other science and biology classes. I tend to agree. How many times will Phrost's IP change by the time he starts his projects? A couple I'm sure. As for all the stuff that he mentioned that you guys post, again I have to agree. I wouldn't post that stuff without masking your IP. Of course I'm in IT and I'm old, so I'm probably just being paranoid.
why not, even if you werent successful im sure you'd know what you were doing right? would one need a phD like shulgin or is synthing RCs in some other area of study?
ok reading the instructions for a synth and actually performing it are very different. talk to me AFTER you finish organic lab. if you know anything about % yields, you know that there is always some impurity in the final product. trust me, the experiments you do in organic lab are gonna come back with like 60-70% yield at best. if you trust yourself after that to try synthing RCs then be my guest. also, there is a big diff between performing a synth vs. performing it WELL. just cuz you can do all the techniques doesn't mean you can do them with good yield. this shit takes tons of practice. so i guess it COULD be done, but i'm not about to try it. ill accept "youll get a low yield" over "you cant do it". plus i doubt 'professional' labs get much higher, im sure theres a variety of techniques for removing impurities.
