swing ride thing

Hey what's the name of those rides where you sit in a seat which is attached to long chains and it spins round and you go flying?

I thought it was a flying dutchman but no. hmm

 

Lots of places just call them the chair swings. I seem to remember a more specific name at one theme park, but it eludes me at present....

 

i think it's called someting different everywhere, based on their theme.

Well at Playland amusement park in Vancouver there called a Wave Swinger.

I once re-painted a Wave Swinger to get it ready for a scene for a Hollywood movie then met Danny Devito. (how cool is that) Cheers

 

They scare the hell out of me. Like stop the ride NOW.

Well I used to operate a wave swing thing at Play Amusement Park in Vancouver and I wouldn’t have stopped the ride for you (sorry) because your screaming would make other people want to ride it. Cheers!

 

i know people that build all of those festival rides and i think it is just called the swing ride.

 

I'll never be on one again. It looks so harmless and fun, but oh, shit, I did nearly crap my pants! And I don't recall the guy letting me off, it must have been you!
