How long does it take to get three drops of water through that thing?

Errrmmm if I want water, I go to my kitchen, place a container under the tap and turn the tap on. Its instant and I can have as much as I want. Here in the uk there are regulations concerning water quality, so I'm safe !!! Living on top of huge mound of chalk (the South Downs), whilst the water quality is good, the aquifer from whence my water originates absorbs lots of dissolved chalk particles which can be tasted in the water. I don't drink water here. It also 'firs up' water pipes and kettles something horrid.

    You need a rainwater tank.

I live in an apartment in the middle of a block, I have neither garden to place a rain-water butt, nor guttering in which to collect it.

Stop complaining, that would give you adequate water to keep your pet mouse alive. :yum::yum::yum:

Did you know that the sewage treatment plant that covers London has to pump it's output into the Thames estuary as the tide runs out, to avoid it running upstream on the rising tide.
When analysed by the European inspectors, the water is actually both biologically and particulately cleaner than the water supplied to our homes.
It is purely that people would find it disturbing to think that the water they were drinking was the same water that they had used to flush their toilet the previous day. :yum:

I'll have you know that the mice around here are strictly feral...
