last saturday i was told and drove to a party and my friend said that she was going to be there, but she might be gone early cause she quit drinking heavy like she used to. i posted earlier elsewhere about how i have not seen her in 3 years, but i though more and its been 5..crazy... we both stoned and show up at 11:30pm just as everyone is nice and drunk and still awake. i met a few people at door then sneaked through the rest of the house, which was easy and awesome because nobody knew me. it was dark and music was loud and i went around a group of people and stood right in front of her, my locks where down (she didnt know i had locked my hair as it used to always be tied back before dreading) both of us standing, i was looking down at her and she was drunk. took her a good 2 seconds to realize someone just snuck up in there, then 2 or 3 seconds of face contact then eye contact then a OMFG!!!!!!!! that filled the living room and then being tackled with a hug. it was awesome. myself and my friend were worried about her when she left, but she came back looking better than ever. seeing a reaction from a friend like that is priceless. keep in touch with people even if they move out of state!
ya man..i have a friend that makes me feel pretty good with her hugs... sometimes she will take a running jump and straddle me...nearly knocking me over even better when it is in public...i like making her current boyfriends jealous even though we are just buds
Most of my old girl friends, especially the few from my graduating class, its a great feeling to be attacked with a hug after not seeing them for a year or more. Years ago, my entire family was meeting in the city for thanksgiving, its rare that the whole family is present. I couldn't work because of my graveyard shift and i had no one to cover me. So i was going to be the only one who can't make it...and it really made my mother sad... Well i got the time off that night! I immediately called my uncle and said look, im coming, gonna surprise my mom ok? So i got the in the car at 4:30am roughly, drove 800 miles in just under 7hours thanks to the freeway and 85mph speeds and was the first one to arrive at the house just after 11am. Mother showed up right at noon, was too perfect. Mother had not seen me in quite sometime and she damn near fell over and into tears. It was a good thanksgiving.
yeah its cool seeing people after that long.. always turn out to be a completely revised person from what you remember.. such a fkin trip .
heck yeah man that's life.......true friends will always stay in contact no matter the living situation. yes, it is awesome to see friends that you haven't seen in forever.........takes ya back to when you were younger and all the care free living you did with said friend!
