Superconducting Bacteria

    This is one of the more curious discoveries in recent years. Assuming 42 is as good as it gets, then the implication is that it is a form of "dimension squeezing" and that other forms of superfluids and possibly superconductors and other rudimentary states of matter are self-organizing. Scientists may have only come across them at ultra low temperature first, because its easier to reproduce the effect without knowing what you are doing. Once we comprehend how everything can be considered self-organizing under the right circumstances, it would be possible to mix and match such phenomena for whatever productive purposes you might have. This is part of what my own work is about, and is a good illustration of why the subject is enough to make anyone go cross-eyed.
