Yep, Denver are terrible. I've given up on them. I don't even want to watch. Best news = Daytona 500 in 21 days =D
Well, the important thing to remember is that, whichever team loses, they will still be getting paid more money than you will ever make without ever having a real job. When it comes to football (and pro sports in general), it seems like the only people who really "lose" are the idiot fans who take sports way more seriously than any person should. I'll shut up now before I draw even more wrath.
Yeah, and some of those with brain damage from concussions won't be able to hold a spoon to feed themselves by the time they're 60, (if they don't commit suicide first) but whats more important than money?
I'm just glad you didn't mention super bowl XX Between the super bowl shuffle and this song I had quite enough https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BZGy1XfYPU"]William Perry - `The Refrigerator Man` music video - YouTube Hotwater
I'd put my body on the line more than these girls blouses. Give Jocelyn a start at OLB she'll show em how it's done.
Fuck dat shit, I knew it was bad but thought they'd come back at least a little bit I. The fourth quarter
that was an amusing game to watch. just when you thought denver couldn't fuck up anymore... that safety really fucked up my wife's chances on winning the pool at her work. she had lots of 3s and 0s on her squares.... i noticed that seattle was playing kinda dirty or hitting extra hard. well there's nothing wrong with hitting hard, but i saw one defensive guy cream someone, and then shove his face into the turf as he pushed himself up off him. that's when i started thinking they weren't very sportsman like. then a few plays later..actually two plays in a row.....a seattle player is hurt and taken out of the game by his own team mate hitting him too hard! it is pretty disgusting the amount of money they make. the average player on the seahawks is 26 years old. and they make over half a million dollars a year - and that's if they are rookies and on the lower end of the payscale. peyton manning makes 20 million per year..times 3. it was pretty cool that RHCP played part of the half time show. kinda weird to me that they were special guests and not the main act. but i guess they are getting old now, and i'm starting to as well.
Isn't that the American dream? As a lackluster fan, I think this is quite often true; but I've seen some people that find more enjoyment in watching sports than I can find in anything. And these people are always following multiple sports, multiple teams; and there's always something on, or coming up - so it's certainly not a bad hobby for them.
I just wanted to quote that to point it out again. It seems that the majority of people only dwell on the money these men make as they literally risk their health and future well-being. From what you said, you must have seen the different studies (as I have) that have said suicide and extreme violence committed by some of these pro players can be attributed to their head injuries/brain damage. Many of these men that play pro ball simply would not be able to EVER find a job making that kind of money...dang if I'll judge them. I thought Peyton Manning might pull a rabbit (or 3) out of his helmet but no such luck.
