Sunrise Celebration 2007

Anyone thinking of doing this festival? I'm a bit scared after the tales from last year, the thing fell apart, lost money, and I spoke to people who had stewarded it and not got their deposit back - to be fair I don't know if they eventually got it back.

 

It's all about their sister festival in the East....

 

Yeah I saw they were asking for stewards for that one too, if it wasn't so bloody far away I might consider it.

 

I thought you were roughly equidistant from East and West? You should make the trip, you can stop by my house for a cuppa char....

 

Meh, maybe I'll look into it, the last time I travelled up that way was to visit Moominmamma a few years ago, ee it were grim up there, and the trains were crap and expensive!

In fact as I recall I was in the pub where they filmed Withnail and I with you and Taz just before I went up to Norwich

its a terrific event I did it last year and am tempted to do it again but sal is trying to lure me to strawberry fair which is crap compared , really sal should go to sunrise too and kat and the rest of you

There is supposed to be some sort of training thing where you drive forklift trucks that attracts me Id really like to drive a fork lift truck or digger .

if sal and kat go there I will too , and I didnt get ripped off last year as I didnt accept any cheques

 

im giong to strawberry fair if sals exams are done by then and so should you bad jonathan!

Ive been to both sunrise and strawberry fair and sunrise is like glastonbury a really good festival ,its better than beautiful days in that there are things to do apart from music and you should go to it .

strawberry fair is just one day no tents no festival

 

Whats the sister festival, is that the dancform thing going on???

The sister festival is Eastern Haze, which is much nearer me.

Fingers crossed me exams won't be too close to Strawberry Fair. They'll probably be afterwards, but as long as they're not the following monday, I think taking a day off should be ok....

well me and lithium will be working at this event Ive paid my deposit .

and it really is a great event from going last year id say its one of the best events in the country its nice and early in the season so go along to it and support a great festival
