    Hello,

it's sunday. It's stormy outside and it's about 14 degree celsius. Warmest Christmas season ever I think. It's a little bit boring today, so I decided to open a bottle of Cremant d'Alsace and bake a chocolate cake. Do you think it's a good idea to mix a grated apple into the dough? I hope that makes the cake more juicy.

    Regards
    Gyro

    O Hi,
Stormy and still its 14 degrees celsius. Ahhhh......
So, According to my opinion, its a nice idea to add graded apple into the cake's dough. It would definitely generate different, much nicer flavor. All the best with your cake. Why don't you listen to some good music while you bake your cake, if its pretty boring there (as you mentioned earlier).

    Hello,

I'll try the apple thing. Well, I like silence. If there wasn't the wind outside one could hear the sparkling of the Cremant.

Brrr, you should put on your winter^summer clothes ;).

Pyjama day. Hmm, do you suggest I should put on my pj's while preparing the cake?

    Regards

    Hello,

the good news: that's above freezing ;). I remember you talking about your heating once. It's still not fixed?

The cake is just out of the oven and I already tasted it ;). Good stuff: chocolate, a grated apple and a little bit of cinnamon.

    Regards

  12. It's 21ºC (70ºF) here today and yes, put apple in your cake. I think that apple, sultana and cinammon are great together. Kind of a wintery, christmassy thing. I also like silence when I'm home alone Gyro. I think it's really cool to be comfortable enough with yourself that you don't need music or the tele or anything.

    38 F = 3.3333 C

I'm relying on wood heat this year... So far I only have a fireplace working, but I picked up an insert yesterday which should help considerably.

    Hello,

yepp, apple and cinnamon go great together. Unfortunately i forgot to buy sultanas or raisins yesterday. Instead I mixed bigger lumps of nougat into the dough. That lumps form bubbles filled with molten nougat while baking. Only one word: de-li-ci-ous ;).

I usually don't listen to the radio during the day. In fact I can't stand it most of the time, especially if I'm working. I find it kinda strange seeing all this people with their headphone on while using the tram or walking through the malls. On the other hand, sometimes I can understand that they want to separate themselfves from the rest of the world for some time.

    Regards
    Gyro
