    Im not sure I may go to either stonehenge or avebury dont have my van so it would involve some walking and trains

    avebury is nicer not the big crowds of stonehenge .

    but stonehenge is stonehenge

    my friends got married on winter solstice so they will be at stonehenge and avebury over the weekend to celebrate their first 6 months. lucky people.

    i didn't really think this was 'strictly speaking' i thought it was fact.
    at least all the pagan people i know are celebrating solstice today.

    if i had the travelling money i would have loved to gone to Stonehenge, though I hear that there's a lot of pissheads that go there, and apparently the stones get vandalized nearly every year, which puts me off a bit. :(

    i was up last night, though lying in bed as the sun started to come up around quarter past 3 in the morning. :)

    mmm stonehenge was fantastic. i had no idea there would be rigs in the carpark, stumbled over them when tripping it was great, the guy who ran it sold tea
