I am dreading the end of summer and needing clothes to keep warm. Maybe another month then I will have to cover up when I go outside.
I'm going to be going on my last naked bike ride of the summer on Sunday. After that, it'll be too cold.
I thoroughly enjoyed nude swimming at Holkham beach today - 15 degrees C, but felt like 9 degrees due to the wind. Surprised looks and some friendly and chatty dog walkers kept me warm. If the weather stays above 10 degrees I’ll be heading there every week for the rest of Autumn
I dread it too. Trying to enjoy as much outside natural time as possible. It is nice, though, to watch the flickering light of a nice warm fire dance across bare skin on a cold winter night.
The naked hippies at my fave hot springs were donning closed toe shoes and hoodies between pools. (It’s usually draped towels or loose robes and some form of sandal…the trails are treacherous in spots)
Here in Northern California, I can usually go out back naked for another month or two as well. But my night time backyard nudity ends sooner. And even then I will try it juat to test the air and see how long I can last.
Still in full nudity mode in southern Arizona. Even when it rained today, it was warm enough to go outside and walk around the farm. I rarely have to do laundry.
Nice to know I'm not the only one that loves that to, with my nice log burner on the go. Especially for a birthday treat on the 3rd October .
Be save and make sure someone knows where you are and the trail you intend to be on. But I think you will know that anyway.
Thank you for getting back to me and keeping me updated. Hope you had a great time, when you and your friends are out and about.
We had what's probably our last hot day of the year (80F, about 27C) 2 weeks ago and I went out for a hike where I pretty much failed to follow that good advice. I told my wife which mountain I was going to hike, but I'm not sure that she really heard me, and I certainly didn't make it clear which trail I intended to take. And in fact I walked on a trail that's officially for skiing, which doesn't get much foot traffic. That was deliberate, so that I could walk in full freedom and comfort! But it did occur to me as I went along, that if I got stuck for some reason, I could be waiting a long time for anyone to pass by. Well, my mission was successful and I returned safely. But I should have been more careful. Here's my picture naked! Mountaintop by Amontillado posted Oct 21, 2025 at 12:10 AM
