So, we're recent transplants to Vermont, we moved to the Northeast last June. Now we live in Lamoille County (i.e. Johnson, Hyde Park, Jeffersonville, that area). Can anyone recommend a good, family friendly, preferably clothing optional beach/lake/swimming hole nearby? We loved Lake Willoughby last summer, but it's more of a haul this year.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey faint.
Sorry for not seeing this until now.
For next summer, try Brewster Falls area in Jeffersonville. Park in the parking area, walk across the covered bridge, take a right onto the path and follow it to the falls. At the top, Ive encountered clothing optional.
Let me know if you have any questions, but I imagine it will be a while til you try it :) I have other spots as well!

    Thanks, vtmax.

I actually stumbled upon that this summer, made it up there a couple of times. It is very nice! Some days there were naked people pretty much everywhere but the main pool.

    Thanks again.
