oh.. that's fuckin' radical I would never in a million years have the guts to snap a photo of someone else's bubbles. That's cool. You're a photographer!
Why? I asked him first and he was doing it in the middle of a parking lot with a huge bucket of the bubble stuff and his (I assume) cat hanging out with him. The cat came over by me after a minute but I did not pet. The guy was pretty enthusiastic about the bubbles, I should have stuck around and asked some more info about it, but I wanted to get a walk in while it was still light outside. He was using a couple sticks that were about 3 feet long and had like a wire or string running along the top connecting them, which he dipped into the solution. Really not a good photographer, I don't think that image captures the perspective very well at all. I was across the street from him, and the bubbles moved away from us, so that image is taken probably about 10-15 feet away.
That looks really good! What am I seeing that looks like reflections of lights in the bubbles? Streetlights? Not in a million years?! I'm sure you could build up the courage in a fraction of that time : ) Otherwise he might be sad. He'd go home.. "dear diary, today no one wanted to photograph my bubbles : ("
Now that you mention it, I see them but I'm not entirely sure. I don't recall standing near any streetlights but there were a couple of parked cars by me in the parking lot and they very well could have been on the other side of the cars.
