I was going to buy a gun yesterday and end my life. The guns I were looking at were to expensive so said suicide did not happen. I wish I could afford them, but maybe therapy is a better option, it;s cheaper and more affective in the long run. I thought I would throw that out there, I had to tell someone.

Does your mental health problems restrict you from owning one? ive always found shooting the shit out of something was really good therapy.. Just saying..

I was looking at a .38, but it was 250 bucks, though therapy is about 150 a session I can slowly pay that.

I wish there was free or cheap mental health, but there is none. My only option is the private opton and their all the same price. I will try a state run health insurance, at least thru there I can get cheap mental hospital stays.

i don't think this is irrational as made out i mean, burnt, you seem like a nice guy - but killing yourself would hurt many other people. your family, friends, heck, even us here at hipforums you have expressed similar things before, and by simply standing back and watching that happen, though i know it's not my place to intervene (probably an ocean apart) would feel fucking awful knowing that it could have been prevented. maybe this is the same for your loved ones, i do not know to what degree people are aware of your problems. everyone is a fucking mess in life, at least your honest enough to admit it. it is those living with grief and troubling thoughts, though believed to be the weaker of us, that are in fact the opposite - to accept it and beat it is a complete strength and testament to the individual. if you find happiness, the sky would actually be the limit. it happens in life all the time. from those who were born into nothing, or those who fall to a complete low, these people can become great success and an inspiration to us all. nothing is beyond reach because they have literally faced complete adversity. good call with the counseling - remember, to be in a position like yours, things may not be able to get any worse, but at least you know instead that things can at least get a whole lot better. good luck.
the problem with a firearm for suicide is...i've always been afraid i would chicken out at the last second, and pull the shot. then i would have half my face blown off, or one eye that don't work, and still be alive in this shit pot of a world. burnt, when i get thoroughly disgusted with the world, i find something physical to do....any hard work that makes me sweat will get my mind off the bs. if you're really depressed, sometimes, the 'wanna' to do the work to change the outlook is not there. it's an ongoing fight....as if living just by itself was not enough of a fight. how's your diet? you eating too many carbs or sugars? sometimes, the wrong diet will cause depression. too much alcohol qualifies as too many carbs. i don't need to tell you what downers will do for someone's mood. what a person puts in their mouth powers their brain, and so.....
