I don't know much about indie except for twee pop. It's a very cute, warm, innocent, (bitter)sweet form of pop sometimes with shoegaze influences. I don't know if it's at all what you're looking for but if it is, check out The Softies, Tiger Trap, Heavenly, Rocketship and the All Girl Summer Fun Band.
