Suggestion

i would put this in the suggestions forum but i think it only applies to the marijuana forum...

i think there should be a locked subforum in here, and only people with a set number of posts can come in. inside this subforum would be threads that contain extra secret information about marijuana

i think this is necessary to weed out the cops or fbi or whatever who come on here to snoop around.
(for example; http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=158241
if a cop saw that then he would know the secret).

You do realize that, essentially, anything the federal government wishes to obtain via internet, they will. Simply creating some "secret" webpage with a passcode is not going to deter them from investigating you. Their capabilities with technology are unparalleled.

scroll down a little to the "Really Above Top Secret"...it used to be set so that you need like 500 posts to get in, and the shit they talked about was so conspiracyful.

but i'm just saying, if a cop were to browse around these threads, they're going to know all the tips and stuff we use to get away with "crimes"

I dunno. I'm quite a newcomer here. And, unfotunately, I'm really ambivalent on this issue. On the one hand, it seems like a great idea. On the other proverbial hand, it is true, if they wanna find it, they will find a way, technilogically, around the 'roadblock'. And, also, I completely agree with Groovey Toker's point.

 

Wow! Extra Secret Marijuana Information that even the government doesn't know? I didn't know that such information existed. (That must be why it's extra-secret.)

this is a decent idea

it's usually used just to strain out noobs, or to let ppl from the media etc. not see certain sections

although this sounds like an easy idea, in a php based forum it's VERY difficult to get the code right to work

These forums aren't about smoking pot and getting away with it. Sure, a lot of people post here, but there is so much more to this site. This site is about free speech, and free speech applies to police officers just as much as it does to you or I my friends.

Seriously, though.. what information would we put in that forum that is so secretive? I'm sure they already know that some people hide drugs under their balls, but they're legally bound to protect the rights of your testicles and can not pat them down out of the blue at an airport, or risk their job for some pothead to be busted.

The government has hackers and can just as easily get into the threads as anyone else.
