I have had their egg thingy (do not know what they call it). It was on a bun and it was actually really good.
Subway is amazing. I'm about a two-minute walk away from a twenty-four hour location. Sandwiches whenever I want! I feel all awkward whenever I stand in line, though. I don't know what it is.
Jealous!!! We have a Subway on campus, though, so I get there often enough. Once a week and $5 feeds me for 2 days. Heat, thanks for the review. I was wondering if they were any good. I'll have to try next week. I had a ham and cheese for lunch today.
I love Subway but they always smell so gross. I've never walked in to one and not gotten nauseous at the general smell of the restaurant.
this morning, breakfast was free before 11. i couldnt go though. probably couldnt have made it through the line on time anyway cuz those free days are always ridiculous
I know I'm resurrecting a dead thread (well, not long dead, but starting to smell a little funny), but I just thought I would submit my review... I got a steak and cheese muffin today and it sucked. The "omelet," which consists of pre-cooked, flat scrambled egg, was first microwaved to thaw it, then toasted with the muffin (which didn't really toast it much at all) and toppings. I got the southwest sauce on it like I do with my chicken or steak subs. Taste was lackluster, texture was kind of unpleasant and rubbery (partially the pre-cooked egg and partially the ill-toasted muffin) and immediately after finishing it, I got a serious stomach ache. This turned to nausea that lasted for around 4 hours before it finally abated. I had to give a presentation with a group during that time. It's not cool when you're sitting there thinking "I hope I don't yak when they get to my line." All in all a terrible experience. Not what I would have expected from Subway at all. I'll still eat the subs, but their breakfast program can suck it. I'm never doing that again, especially when I can get one twice as big from the grill with two hash brown patties on the side for an extra $.75 that WON'T have me clutching my guts and groaning for half the day. Just thought you should know.
Eeew that sounds so gross. I'm glad you did review. I'll stick to the deliciously unhealthy Mcgriddle, thank you.
The Subways in Texas must be far superior to those here. If Subways here smelled like fresh baking bread and sometimes baking cookies I would eat there more often (even more often if they didn't cost more than my soul).
i don't think subways around here have a noticeable scent. i would not consider eating breakfast there, although they are acceptable for lunch/dinner.
