There have been a few people on subs I have heard them say that LESS IS MORE on Subs. What exactly does this mean? I dont know of anyone who gets High off Subs so it can't mean that.
What Do U Mean?? Etkearne Gets High From Subs Every Day!!! I Also Asked Him Once How He Gets High From, But He Says He Does So Good For Him!!! And I Read Somewere That If U Take More Then 3mg Of Bup At Once It Affects U Differently Then If U Take More... Like If U Take less or up to 3mg It Hits Receptors that can get u high, But If U Take More Then 3mg At Once Then If Wont Get In There...I Dont Know If This Is True Or If Thats Even What It Means, But I read this somewere...If Anybody has Any More Info On This At All Then Plz Share!!!
I dont ever get high from subs personally but I do think thet work better in low doses. Kind of like oxy said, when you take a higher dose its like the bupe blocks it from working or something. When I first took them I took as much as it took to make me not WD [32mg] and quickly reduced until 1mg and the low dose does just as good IMO.
I always took that simply as a reference to reducing a tolerance build up. But, remember, there IS a ceiling around 6-8mg. Yes. I do get quite a high from it. It isn't insanely euphoric, but it makes me satisfied.
I hear some people say they get a high from it as ETK and others but I never have really. Last time I took them I had the films and the pill formula does work better for me for some reason. I cant put my finger on it but something seems to be missing from the films has anybody else experienced that?
I Have Only Tried The 8mg Subutex Pills And Never Gotten High From Them!!! That Doesnt Mean That Other PPl Dont/Cant Get High From Them!!!
I have to admit, I got extremely high on Subs last night, but I purposely took a lot. It easily rivaled a strong Oxycodone experience with nodding, dissociation, etc.
ETK, im wondering if it has to do with you being on it a while, other meds u take.....etc I went with 2mgs for a dose today, but nothing but more tireness is what i saw. I read today where people on opiophile were talking about getting high off 1-2mgs a day. I was like HUH???? So im thinking it surely could be the short period ive been taking it. All i want is alertness, not euphoria or whatever. LOL mind you i wouldnt hate that but damn if i could just feel awake, id be real happy, also meant to mention the pain, Subs arent covering it very well either. SO thats where im at right now.
Ok, after talking with the Dr today, we are gonna try Subutex instead of Suboxone. Now I know the difference is that Subutex doesnt have Naloxone where as Suboxone does in small amounts (2mg) per 8mg strip. What im wondering is could the Naloxone zap my energy...?
I actually have read in academic journals that the Naloxone doesn't really do anything (good or bad) if you are not shooting the shit up. I hope, though, that the change might help out. It is known that Buprenorphine can make people really 'ragged-out' for the first month or so of treatment. I can even attest myself to the fact that I felt pretty much 'zonked' from mid-December until New Years when I got on it last year. But then it all lifted and things really started to jump along well! Keep with it and stay strong. You are doing really well, my friend!
ETK, im focused however Im used to doing lots of things, staying busy, even before Opiates. But this is just too damn much to feel this crappy. I wouls swear, like I said before, that Im on the edge between being well and being in withdrawals.....
That's what I'm going through man. I'm happy one minute annoyed the next. I quit cold turkey though. Clean for 2 weeks. I hate it.
