Sublime

Just out of curiosity. How many stoners here love Sublime? Not just listen and like them. I mean LOVE them. Like one of those bands whose every song seems to be your favorite. I ask this because I don't personally know any stoner born in the U.S. who does not LOVE Sublime. Oh yeah and if you absolutely had to pick, what is your favorite song/album? Mine would be the Marley Medley from Nowell and Friends and the only official live album "Stand by Your Van".

 

Stand by your Van is really good, I love Pure Anus..that has to be my favorite..
Have you seen the Documentary, Stories, Tales, Lies, and Exaggerations? Its really good, its sad though, but its really good...

 

i have to agree with you guys, sublime Is awesome! i don't think they ever made a bad song. Smoking+Sublime= Good Times

 

I am a stoner and I never heard a Sublime song. Well maybe, but just didn't realiize it. I am a HUGE Bone Thugs and Harmony Fan. Most of you think Cross Roads was that last hit song when if fact they just came out with a new album. They put on concerts all the time.. My friends and I make it to all the MA, CT and NY shows as we live in CT. It is so OUT OF CONTROL because you love every song and feel every song. So I guess I feel the same vibe you do, just with a different band. Thats awesome!!!

 

i can honestly say that i dont love them. i think they have made a few good songs... but nothing to be like... oh lalala they are great

 

Yeah, I'm not a fan, and don't really love the few songs I have heard. *shrug*

 

Yeah shroom i have seen stories lies tales and exaggerations. My favorite parts are the live Smoke Two Joints and the Denny's shit water story. That shit's hilarious.

 

i dont listen to them i need to start but i like them. all my skater friends love them

 

i like them. i used to listen to them a lot back in the day when i used to veg out smoke a bowl and turn up some tunes.

but more recently i think i've grown out that type of music. that's not to say that i don't like listening to them or when im cruising and they come on the radio hell yah i'll blast it.

but if it's a preference i'd choose something else to put in my cd player instead of a sublime cd.

 

I used to like them, then my brother loved them, obsessed, and totaly overplayed them and I got sick of Sublime. Few years later I start smoking, and besides once in a while I hadn't listened to much of sublime and all of a sudden I heard them and I was like "Holy Shit!" and I fell back in love with them. Good shit.

 

I like them. I've liked them most of my life, and I've been smoking most of my life... coincidence? Perhaps. I never associated the two together. I really like their album Robbin The Hood. Great stuff. especially the samples of that crazy man talking... something about "she's my fuckin zombie I made her..." classic

 

They are alright, I wouldn't say I love them though... At times the actual music can be annoying, I prefer more mellow stuff... Then again I'm also getting kind of sick of them as I've heard them WAY too much...

 

Sublime is fantastic. I don't listen to them all the time but I really like them.

 

Some of its kinda wierd. The only song i really like is pawn shop. Its got some great reggae vibes....very mellow and easy.

Yes....Sublime is amazing....that's all we did this summer....smoke and listen to Sublime....good times. I have "Stories, Tales, Lies, and Exaggerations." My friends and I got good and gone and watched it together for the first time. It was odd watching Bradley....it was lovely. I bet he'd be a good lay.

 

Im dl some tracks now, i dont know who they are. everyone raves about phish so i dl them and i didnt find them that great (might have jsut been the songs i listened to), i hope these guys are good

i listen to the beatles almost 24/7

 

sublime is one of my fav bands of all time! too bad bradley had to die so soon...
