Does anyone else here sit at work all day feeling like they're in a cage? Like they waste 8 hours a day doing something they don't like to do just because it puts a little money in your pocket? I do. And I'm proposing we start some sort of sub-culture company where we could work with the type of people we want to and control our own company instead of being told what to do. I for one ran a whole warehouse from 17-20 yrs old, and now (23) I head the whole data team at my online catalog company. So I know a little about operations. Some of you must have a good heads on your shoulders in other areas. Honestly I want to get together with some people and figure out a way to make some money doing something we want to do. This place would be so cool to work for. We could even smoke weed in the building. As long as we get our work done, nothing would matter. Why not have a little fun at work, when you have to spend 8 hours a day there? Why does it have to be something you hate doing? I don't hate my job that much, but I do feel like i'm in a cage and should be doing something else on my own.... anyone else? I brought this up with some of my buddies and we're already putting some ideas together. We may even start a web-designing company, where all we do is play music, smoke, or whatever while designing websites together... We usually come up with our best ideas when we smoke anyway... cool way to spend those dreaded 8 hours a day huh? anyone interested in getting out of that cage? Or putting some ideas together to start a buisiness that pertains to the sub-culture?
