KC's thread about her daughter inspired me to create this thread. What were some stupid things that you used to do when you were a kid? They can be things you don't remember but that your parents love telling you about, but basically anything weird that made your parents life just a teeny bit more interesting than it was before. Maybe this is better for Randomness, but I figured I'd try it out here and if it gets moved, so be it.
My stupid thing, as I stated in the other thread, is that I once tried to paint my cat. I remember it in fact. I was about 3 years old and I had this really cute black and white cat named Keesey (she was named after an imaginary friend of mine). One day I was painting with tempra paints and thought it would be interesting if she were purple. I've always loved the colour purple. I think I only managed to paint about a square inch of her fur before my mom saw me and stopped me and then had to wash the cat. Poor kitty. She would have liked her Purple coat.
I used to dress my little brother up as betty boo, well me and my 3 sisters used to pin him down, he used to have make-up, clothes, shoes. He looked great Dress the cat up, he also looked great You know the stuff you get around windows, its kind of rubbery. I had a fetish for that and used to stick it up my nose!! Went to hospital a few times so they could get it out We used to play a game as kids where one of us would sit in a chair blindfolded and the other one/s would get different food, shove it in the blind folded ones mouth and you had to guess what it was, that always used to induce vomiting. Mum and dad didnt like that game!!!
:lol: wiggy, those are great! i take it your siblings were close to your age then? my brother and sister are 6-8 years younger than me; so i don't remember so much plotting going on between us.
Once I was flying down the 401 highway in a souped up Corvar with my mom and I decided to let my pet frog loose to see what she would do. She freaked and started swerving all over the road and even for a stupid kid it was terrifying.(we almost got creamed by one of those trucks that transports cars) Cheers!
My little sister got hit in the leg by a swing, cried her eyes out and wailed all the way home, whinny girls who bleedin wants em.... transpired she'd cracked her shin poor child, boys horrible shits who'd ave em... still makes me whince thinking about that one.
I went tree climbing... via my bedroom window. the tree was about 4 feet away and I just used to jump. Also stupid was slinging a rope from said tree and swinging tarzan-style on it. Oh and the amount of drugs I did might be considered stupid, but not by me.
Ohh swings !! Once my mate, her mum and her step dad went to a pub with a park in. He was pushing me on a swing and I asked him to stop cos I felt sick or bored i dunno - anyway he didnt so i got my foot and booted him right in the bollocks. I have never seen a bloke crumble so quickly!!
Hmm... stupid things I've done. Ok, Ill make a list. 1. Shoved a Lego coin up my nose when I was 5, I cuoghed it out later. 2. Yesterday, Freewind was at my house. I found some wired white powder in the sink. I ate a little and it tasted distgusting but I'de already swalloed. I later found out it was stuff you add water too and pour down your sink to clean it out. I'm not dead yet! 3.I used to jump down some very high, concrete stairs at my old house. I used ot be able to go the whole way. I wouldn't dare do that now.
