Stupid question, I know

How do I change my HipForums avatar?:&

 

user options -> user control panel -> edit avatar.

 

This will work too, http://hipforums.com/forums/profile.php?do=editavatar.

 

Maybe I didn't explain...I wanna use my own. Not the HF ones.

 

Dont think vBulletin supports uploading your own avatar, sry.

 

I think it does. I mean look at Matt's (MattInVegas) avatar...

 

Hip forums, and vBulletin DOES support uploading your own. BUT! Certain things have to happen before you are allowed to do it.

1. You have to at LEAST donate to the site. (Reccomended)
2. If you haven't donated, you have to be at SENIOR MEMBER status to do it.
3. It has to be a certain size. Both File size, and the size of the "Physical" image in PIXEL measurement. (Picture Element - Dot on the screen.)
I think the LIMIT here is 70X70. And I can't remember the file size.

 

It SHOULD all be in the FAQ.

 

i definitly reccommend sending in the donation, for all the cool stuff they give ya for free, it's the thing to do.

what's 'senior member' status, and how do you get that? postcount?

 

a combo of post count and time spent will get you senior member...but donating is better. way moe pm space and your avatar size can be larger and tons of other goodies too
