a woman i know came home to find her apartment door smashed it... her brand new dvd player gone, a bunch of other stuff and the real kicker is... her safe with the money she had been saving up for god knows how long to give her kids a great christmas. she never gets to see her kids. it's been over a year and she has three kids between the ages of 7 and 12. her safe had over $3000 cash and some bastard stole it!!!
um why she didnt she use a bank? safe or no safe, I couldnt for the life of me see leaving that much money unatattended
i really have no idea....maybe it was not claimed (she's on financial assistance i think) and if she put it in a bank then she would get in trouble. i really have no idea i'm just speculating. but it's still alot of money to lose
why do people do that stuff at Christmas? Its just wrong.......and there is a special place in hell for them all
They sound like assholes, but not stupid. The people who broke into my friend's apartment a month or 2 ago are stupid -- broke the window & left the jagged edges of glass in the windowpane, so they cut the hell out of themselves getting in... All that for an ancient laptop (seriously not worth $50 these days), a black & white 13" tv, & a crappy beaten-to-hell boombox. At least the bastards you're talking about were smart enuf to hit someone who actually had something of value! But, yeah, that sucks. What's the chance they will catch the person(s)? At least in my friend's case, the thief left plenty of DNA evidence!
That is terrible... why does stuff like this happen? The world is going to hell in a handbasket ladies and gentlemen. A non-stop ride to crappyville. That poor woman. I hope, should they catch the person(s) who did this, she's able to tell them exactly how they ruined Christmas for her children. They deserve to know the extent of their actions.
when i got robbed the fucker tried to rip open my diary from when i was 12. he couldnt break the lock though, blithering imbicile
I am really sorry to hear that retrofishie. I feel so bad for your friend. That is just wrong on so many levels................... ~namaste~
i think whoever did it must have known her, cuz it's an apartment building and she lives in a bachelor apartment at the very end of the building... if i was out to rob someone you'd think a 2 bedroom would have more valuable stuff then a one bedroom. i doubt they will catch the person. no witnesses..no neighbors across the hall (they just moved out) and no fingerprints, they wore gloves.
I think everything evens out. When somebody fucks me over I just smile and watch and wait for the other shoe to fall. Moron at the gas station tryed to drive off without paying and slammed into a light pole.
Thefts like that go up like crazy during the holidays. These people are worried about their own kids.... or their coke habit and their old lady's.
