So prostitution is illegal am I the only one who realizes how stupid that is the argument against prostitution is that women selling their bodies is going to create a demand for sex trafficking counter argument a masseuse also "sells his/her body" in the sense that they're using their body for service in this case hands does that mean we should Outlaw massage parlors legalizing prostitution does not make it safer for women or anybody its actually quite the opposite legalizing prostitution that means that women who wants to be prostitutes have to seek out pimp's and other dangerous routes where they can be beaten and abused side note in Sweden it's legal to sell sex but illegal to buy it that's a huge double standard I mean I guess to a certain extent I get the thought process buts still stupid that I can be sent to jail for paying for a legal services just because I have a penis

My opinion is that it's insane. It would be much better to have some system of licensing or something similar for sex workers. The law has proven totally ineffective and creates many more problems than it solves on this issue.

I used to work on a loading dock unloading produce shipments. A very dirty and strenuous job. That type of work has had permanent repercussions such as being in pain every day. It was also a low paying job. So, I was selling my body for low wage in a situation that has had long term negative effects. And of course that was legal. So we can see that it is not illegal to sell one's body, as long as no one enjoys it.

All forms of work are selling your body and time in one way or another, some are more demanding or have the potential for more serious long-term effects. The arguments against prostitution seem to be based in outdated religious concepts of purity and morality rather than genuine concern for the people involved. A legalised, regulated system would prevent a lot of the current abuse of sex workers, and make the job of the police in shutting down sex trafficking and underage prostitution rings significantly easier.

OP; for fucks sake, write in sentences.

If there was no societal stigma over prostitution, almost every man would have to pay to get laid.

    Not really though

Its more than stupid, its bare faced hatred of men, by bitter old hags. The same who ban attractive women from appearing on tv, or wearing short skirts.

Hookers would never be my cup of tea, but there is a serious issue about how Sweden has gone from liberal and enlightened to man-hating yet Islam embracing and basically utterly destroyed itself over one generation.

By the man-haters definition, we should stop eating vegetables because they may have been picked by trafficked skivvies. Likewise, restaurants should be banned because they are "insulting to a wife's OOPS HUSBAND'S cooking abilities". Ofcourse its utter crap.

What it all shows is that lobbyists (in this case, old pigs who hate the idea of men having sex with someone attractive) can eliminate the whole of the democratic process.
I'm puzzled at why Swedish men have become so emasculated. Perhaps its an environmental pollutant issue.

But ultimately Sweden, once famed for the most beautiful women in the World perhaps, is a pretty gross place to be a man. I don't know any business colleagues who would want to visit Sweden. So it looks like the Islamists and their partners in "liberalism" the bitter manhating hags can have it to themselves. RIP Sweden.

Oh and one final thing, the incidence of rape skyrocketed after this wacko new law. Well done Swedish manhaters.. perhaps they'll have compulsory castration of men next. They sound like one of those nutjob student unions that says "all men are rapists" ie the sort of "women" most men wouldn't even dream of raping...

prostitution is capitalism in a nut shell. those who condemn the one and praise the other, have failed to honestly analyze ether.
now i'm neither praising nor condemning either. not in any absolute sense. but might i suggest both are somewhat over rated.

now capitalists who call themselves christians, and christians who call themselves capitalists, and there's a self contradiction right there if there ever was one,
are always the first to whine when it is suggested that any law be analyzed rationally. at least when they think it comes from their pet god, which it doesn't.

it comes from a book attributed to their pet god by bullshit artists. while arrogantly demanding that a god, about whom they know nothing, remain their private pet, and no one else's.
which if they were to pull their heads out of wherever they hide them, they'd realize how self contradictory it is, to attempt to posses, something they claim to have created them.

Kiprat, have you ever even been to Sweden or do you know a lot of swedish guys? If there is a serious point in your post you are ruining it with your exaggerations.

    Nonsense.

Yes I have visited Sweden and known lots of Swedish guys. Actually, I've found them all to be really nice people. And as businessmen, I'd say they are actually the best to do business with in all of Europe. Honest, balanced, polite. Extremely good.

But the problem is that the society HAS been feminised. The guys I speak to are against it. And they tell me how endemic the extreme feminism is, even banning/dissuading the shadow of a female nipple from print adverts etc. I mean locking up men that use hookers? I've never been remotely interested in hookers, but Christ what a pathetic way for a country to behave..

If wives (or husbands!) don't want their spouse seeing hookers, the solution is simple. Get on a diet, get a facelift, book yourself a course at Charm School. If you want to criminalise people having fun, fuck off to Saudi Arabia!

There again, in 20 yrs time, Sweden will probably BE a Saudi Arabia. LMAO.

So anyone who does a job for money or money's worth is a "capitalist". Sorry but thats a bit ridiculous.

And likewise, someone can be a Christian, or a Capitalist, both or neither. They're separate concepts. All depends on the TYPE/definition of Capitalism.
What is UNChristian I would say is an EXTREME capitalist greed, one with virtual slavery etc. But thats completely irrelevant to this thread.

I would never be into prostitution, but there's plenty of other things I wouldn't be interested in. However, I'd be a pretty fucked up individual if I wanted it banned.

It reminds me of Hefner and Murdoch banning nudity in their publications now they can't get it up. Both pretty bitter individuals, IMO.

Just like the fat, bitter manhaters who can't keep their men from having fun elsewhere. (Likewise with any husbands afraid of "gigolos" etc in Sweden).

The so called law is nothing more than a creeping tyranny against something that any sane, intelligent, normal person would accept is an utterly harmless activity. One that does Sweden a huge disservice.

Additionally, the hypocricy of the law is further proof of how depraved it is. Its like saying "anyone with a dick must pay extra tax".
Swedish women, and the spineless idiots who support them need to take a hard look at themselves. Before much further damage results.

I agree only with this. But your exaggerations how the feminized society of Sweden emasculates the swedish male population is indeed nonsense. It's also not really a gross place to live for guys either, maybe for guys who have a serious problem with the so called feminisation of society (or is it really just emancipation that in a few cases was taken too far ;)).

So yes, you are ruining the valid point in that post with nonsense.

I'm not exactly sure if you are against legalization or for it. Sorry, it was hard to understand your writing structure. So, I can't say I'm for or against you. But, when it comes to this topic most people are for legalization under regulations and some sort of labor system. Either that, or they don't give a shit, because it's believed to be a choice, therefore its their fault that all this is happening. And of course, for the bosses of the sex industry they are all for legalization because it would make it easier for them, even with the regulations and labor system. So, those workers are screwed, both figuratively and literally no matter the route taken. The only way to fix this for everyone is to go into the system as it is now, and fix it one area at a time. That is why I think there needs to be more human advocates, and people of that sort.

No worries. You probably are suffering some linguistic setbacks. English is one of the hardest languages to learn, because it's so fucking unnatural. For fuck sake, we are writting from the left to the right. That's unnatural. Also, if English is not your first language it would be even harder. If it makes you feel better, I don't think it had anything to do with any kind of cognitive delay. You probably just need a speech therapist. I wouldn't worry about it as far as people getting upset. It's within our nature to get upset when we don't understand the language that is being directed to us. However, I would check it out. I have to admit that sentence was not properly written, and it wasn't because it had a bit of chat speak and typos.

Language is important, you have to have your A game.

I'm more into the development of children, then I ever was interested in linguistics. I just know it's quite difficult for children to learn to write from left to right. They do better writing up and down, and yes, there has been groups to write like this. Even writing from right to left has been better for some kids.

God, I miss being a daycare provider. Kids really teach us a lot. They're struggles and accomplishments conveys more than we like to admit.
