I didn't think it was possible to mix bluegrass with van halen, but it turns out I was wrong. There's this new tribute album coming out called "Strummin' with the devil: the southern side of van halen" and it's got a ton of bluegrass bands paying tribute to David Lee Roth-era Van Halen, which is my favorite era. David Lee is even on two of the tracks, Jamie's Cryin' and Jump, which are better than the originals.

    anyone hear about it?

I listened to the sound clip of Running with the Devil and it wasn't bad or anything...but I just can't get used to the thought of a bluegrass version of Van Halen.
