The tyre company had to take them off to put the new tyres on as it partly covers the wheel nuts but the young guy learning didn't put the rear right one on back properly. As I was driving into KB's it fell off & I heard the horrible crunch of it being driven over, being a rare classic getting a part I knew would be difficult & I thought as it was their fault I would go back to them with the broken centre-hub cap. They took the broken centre-hub cap & one of the ones that were not, took my details & said they would try to get another one or one made. I think that is very decent of them & was pleased with how they dealt with it as they could of easily have said once its back in your hands its your problem. In the mean time I've taken the remaining two centre-hub caps off & although they completed the car with it, without them it looks ok. My car is now riding on 185-16 GT Radials which make a huge difference over the smaller 165-14 Dunlops as there isn't power-steer the bigger tyre makes it easy to steer at low speeds where as before it was on the heavy side .
I just about maxed out the credit card shouldn't of done that lol. After new tyres I have a set of speakers a friend of mine is fitting today & the cd player is being fitted by an auto electrician as the hole in the dash is one mm to small which would be about right so he will have the tools to put it in right. I was only originally going to get a cheap cd player but that is way too big & the original speakers were shot {I guess being 25 years old you can't expect a lot} so it cost me $500 in the end for everything or $300 US, hopefully the auto electrician doesn't cost too much
its a sony cd player with 4 100 watt Pioneer speakers, the speakers were surprisingly cheap for what are decent ones.
