I think there's something to be learned every time you get a stain on your clothes. Once when I was in London, and had just bought a hot dog that had mustard on it as I was about to board a tour bus. I was hoping that I could pay, organise my head phones, and find a seat all while holding the hot dog. Once I got to the upper deck of the bus it was somewhat windy and the napkin that had touched the mustard got blown into my crotch! I think I somehow wanted to prove to myself that I could manage it all.
In retrospect, the vast majority of stains on my clothes (uniforms) was other peoples blood. How I acquired them is not something I care to reminisce about.
I hate getting stains on my clothes, but they seem to be a fact of life. So many hours lost trying to clean said stains... I am sure there are many with tricks up their sleeves on how to clean them... but I do know Tide Stain Sticks aren't worth a damn.
Thank you for your service saving lives Piobaire! I have several EMT's and a doctor in my family. My brother in law was an ambulance driver. His wife (my sister) is an RN. We are very proud of them, and you too!
