When I look around the world i've been brought up in, I always end up so confused as to who to beleive, what is really right and wrong, but All I know for sure is that something is not right. The way we live, the way we treat each other... the whole culture makes me want to run and never stop on sometimes.

I see people running into stores owned by a few rich people, who are constantly becoming more rich and powerful, yet most of us do not even realize of the rigid hiarchy of our society. except for school, and perhaps a few other places, social classes simply do not mix. once we graduate, we all split off into our own socioeconomic groups.

It makes me sad when i see so many people are being killed, and to know that all of them are poor, and someone is making money off of it.

With a screen flashing at all of us it's hard to even form you're own opinions about things. Things that we cannot imagine cannot exist, such as the 1984 concept that the party can eliminate the very though of freedom, so one does not even stop to think.

I'm not really sure what you are addressing. Sweat shops? Corporations? Fascism? Classes? Can you elaborate?

yeah i know that was general... its just sort of hard to start talking about a certain thing on the first post ya know? all of those things were tied in there to some degree. certainly that think classes are a little odd, just because there are so few on in the top 1% and im not sure of the exact statistic, but a lot more than 1% of the population is in extreme poverty and oppression.

I read a statistic before that said that the bottom 40% of American people control 1/5 of 1% of our economy. Interesting, eh?

    wow...
I hadn't heard that one, but very interesting...
I just think its interesting that people just seem to accept that,
we love doing what we're told it seems.

Well, most people don't even know these kind of things, so they don't even have a chance to stand up against them. It's sad, really.

    statistics are mostly bullshit.
i could tell you that 1 out of every 10 semi trucks that drive by you in your life have either illegal substances in it or illegal immigrants.

do you believe me?.. did i just MAKE THAT UP!??!?

    god its so late/early.
    i'm going to sleep.

yeah that does raise a good point.
my art teacher was giving a lecture today, and he asked us if we beleived him. it was kind of interesting... he asked us how did we know that any of what we are being told to beleive is true? we just don't care...
