I've never been through that (in the sense that I'm straight and never had the problem of liking someone who is gay)... but I dated a guy who wasn't sure once. He had a crush sorta on his best friend. so I encouraged them to kiss (his best friend is secure enough with himself to do it, although he's straight too). the guy i was with said it was gross.. then kissed him again the next night at a party..
that was interesting.

anyway, i have no idea why i'm rambling on about whatever.

Just becareful, there is still plenty of homophobia out there. Make sure he would be receptive to a guy asking him out- if he isn't then you know right then and there he won't be interested. I don't want to see you get unduly hurt.

If he says no, don't be discouraged. You can only be content that you gave it a shot.
