Stop Arguing for Equality!

Before you start getting so uptight and angry as women do as soon as their 'rights' are violated, read the rest of this thread.
Point Number 1 - Man was first created by god, and it was to fill the Adam's loneliness, the first woman , Eve was created. This shows women were made FOR men, not to be equal as her main priority , but to fill a man's loneliness was the first priority women were made for, and this, is not my idea but that of Gods, who has no hatred but only love for mankind. If you disagree, go read the bible.
Point Number 2 - Women have a lesser level of testorone than men, so to try and compete/be equal with a man at an activity where being physical counts, is absurd. Women constantly complain about the sexism they get in the area of 'sports'. Men got sick of it and decided to give them the equality, but now women are complaining about the shit attention they get. It has nothing to do with gender, it has to do with the level at which the sports are played, men compete with much more strength/fierce/anger, and naturally people (including women) prefer watching sports at a professional level than watch it at an amateur level, which women play it compared to men. So naturally they get shit attention, and sponsors stay closer to men's sport. Women were given equality and men proved them better.
Point Number 3 - Earn your rights. Women try and get the easy way to becoming equal by complaining. For example, jobs, they complain about the pays not being as high as being mens, but the truth is, men are more willing to do anything for the job. To see a fine example of this, don't look at the nice jobs, but look at the down and dirty jobs. Such as the rubbish workers, they are essential to our society and the workers are made from men. Women won't touch the stuff, they think it is sinking too 'low' for their self-esteem, you got to be able to sacrifice to earn.

I might come up with more points later, but these are the ones I feel most strongly about.
And yes, there is strong stereotyping here, but I'm not going to argue with every single women, so I based these around the majority.

I see that you are a strong believer in the bible, so I have a very sincere question for you:

If God created women for men to stop their loneliness, then that would mean that "woman race" is a gift to man from God. This would actually make them superior , because then women are the gifts from God. Did you ever see someone say the expression " I am the gift of God to mankind" ? well, by God's argument, that would equal to women

Actually testosterone is only important when a man and a woman are fighting - boxing with each other.

There are hundreds of women athletes in the world who are very good at what they do, if you want their names, then you should visit the women's sports foundation, it can be very educational for you.

There are many women in construction worker business, I don't know where you got the idea that women don't "touch" that stuff. Personally, I don't "touch that stuff" either and I am a man. Usually the "touching that stuff" comes in when you have no other choice, if you are good at something than some one else and with a little luck- you would never touch that stuff.

And there are plenty of women who have alot of physical strain at work, one good example is myy sister, who works in a dry cleaners to pay for her college- and she has alot of physical work to do there. Two spanish women at my work come into my cubicle thing and take the garbage away... So, many people do dirty jobs because it pays, it almost never depends on your gender.

The reality- itself is that we have evolved into a species that have the capability to think, to feel, to know and to love -the truth.

Truth is the only friend and the only savior, it is this Truth that tells us that men and women are equal .

There are dumb women just like there are dumb men, there are intelligent women just like there are intelligent men and there are strong women just like there are strong men.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the only differences between us lie in relationships etc. Other wise we are one race- human.

JackDoff, I did read your entire post, with an open mind, but I have to disagree on some points.

You are assuming two things, 1) that this part of the bible is supposed to be taken literally (not all Christians think this) and 2) that the bible is correct. I personally think this was neither meant to be taken literally nor think that the bible is always 100% correct. Keep in mind that the people who wrote the bible lived almost 2000 years ago, and back then there was a lot of sexism.

I mostly agree with this point, women are a lot different from men. Men and women cannot be completely equal because we have many differences. Not just testosterone. Through behavior studies, on a movie I watched in biology class, they said that men are naturally more technical than women, which is why men are more inclined to go into a profession involving math or science. That is just one example. Anyway, I disagree with this statement:

I know you acknowledged the fact that you did use stereotypes, and were simply trying to generalize, but really I think this is a weak argument because of the blatent sterotyping. Just Thursday, I saw a program on PBS about social class in America. When they were showing the poorest of the poor, they showed one single mother who lived in a trailer with her sons. You say that women aren't willing to take "down and dirty jobs" but this women walked 10 1/2 miles each day to work at a Burder King--Not as a server-- but as a women who would clean the bathrooms. Anyway, putting this example aside, you really have no evidence to base that claim on, women as much as men are willing to work hard for their money, and that is a completely unfair, untrue sterotype.

Ok let's look it at from a gifts analogy, how are gifts superior than the person? The gift is changed to suit the person receiving the gift. The gift is made FOR the person, you're basically saying an envelelope has more content than a letter. As for expressions, they are nothing compared to what is actually written in the bible.

Testosterone is used in any physical activity, because it affects the muscle growth/muscle endurace.
As for Billy Jean King against Bobbyrigs, that is ONE case
Who's the fastest runner/swimmer in the world? a man
Who's the highest/longest jumper in the world ? a man
Men hold the world title/records for 99% of olympic events, there is a difference between one case study and thousands. Women are good at olympics, men are better. As for names, you should look it up too, educational for you also.

Women won't touch the stuff because that is what statistics tell us. You go look up the number of men in the 'stuff' workforce than compare it with the women, you'll see where I got my point from.
There might be plenty of women but there a LOT more men in these lines of work.

As I said, I'm not here to argue against case studys, they make up a minority. I am here to argue against the majority.

 

1) If bible is not supposed to be taken literally, it'll have a whole different meaning to whoever is reading it. If this is the case, explain the fact why people go to church. 100's and 1000's of people gather at churches with the same belief in the bible and for this to happen, it is taken literally
2) I'm not here to argue about if the bible is correct or not, that is not the point of this thread.
As for the bible, I am talking about genesis where no opinions were inputted, only what happened was written down. There was nobody to be sexist in the verses of the bible I'm talking about.

You agree men are physically stronger, they are pushed to their limit. Therefore more is on the line, and with that feelings are on the line.

Only the best are the professional.

Case studies are a minority. I stereotyped following the majority.

The truth is men and women cannot be equal, we are not made to be equal. In some places women have the superior build, and in some places men do. In the sex industry, you don't see men strippers on TV and on newspapers complaining because they don't get the attention women strippers do. Men accept it, so should women.

How do you arrive at that conclusion? By that same logic, if you buy a big dog to keep your little dog company, the big dog must be inferior because he is only there for the sake of the little dog.

Duh. Nobody ever claimed women were as strong as men. Women are weaker. That's why men and women have different sporting events where physical strength is involved.

What planet do you live on? Men are not fiercer or more angry than women. If anything, I think men are slighly more laid back than women. All the really fierce and angry people I've ever known in my life have all been women.

Oh, right. So why should anyone watch greyhound racing when horses are much faster?

Your arguments are getting pretty thin here. I could give you many examples of jobs that men don't seem to touch. For example, you never see men working in baker's shops. Is rolling dough too 'low' for men's self esteems?

Actually, I can't believe you chose dirty jobs as an example of jobs that women don't do! I've worked in a lot of offices and seen a lot of cleaning staff and I would say it's one of the few jobs where the ratio of males to females is about 50:50.

Overall, I think it is absurd to say that women are "inferior" to men. Women are superior to men in many ways. They are more intelligent, for example; they have a much greater ability to learn; they are also a lot more emotionally sensitive than men, and their brains are much better than men's at doing several things at once. They also make more natural parents, and when it comes to giving birth, they are far better than men.

If you think that lifting heavy things is all that matters, then yes, men are superior. However, if you have a brain, you won't make such stupid comparisons. Both sexes have their own strengths and weaknesses.

A woman at the top of her game may be weaker than a man at the top of his game, but that doesn't mean she is an amateur. You are implying that all female athletes are amateurs because they cannot compete with men. You said only the best are professional, and that is true with both men and women. What is the difference between a male soccer player and a female soccer player? They are both "pushed to their limits." There is no more on the line for the male than the female if they both give it 100%.

If I didn't believe in God your argument about women being created to fill man's loneliness would not mean a thing to me. Even as a Christian I resent the fact that you use the Bible to promote your distorted and narrow-minded view of women. Eve was created as a companion to Adam, not as a gift (which implies ownership).

It amazes me that women demanding better treament and equality is such a shock to some people. It is seen as complaining or taking the easy way when a man doing exactly the same thing would be acceptable because he is a man.

I think this thread only goes to prove that my favorite quote is true. I don't remember who said this but I wish it had been me.

Men and women are equal. You see, I am not saying men and women don't have differences, but on the level of humanness, their rights, their nature- they are neither superior , nor inferior to us, so they are the same.

If I was a woman, I can very well say 'feel' the same me inside, no matter what. Everyone exists at the same level when it comes to their rights- human rights.

One good way to look at this is to put yourself in a woman's shoes:

Lets say Jackdoff, you are a brilliant biochemist and you have the capability to do so many things and you love a certain job, but they don't give it to you because of one reason- you are a woman, how would that make you feel? and how would that benefit the society?

I know you are a man, but try to put yourself in a woman's shoes and try to see this, its not hard to see what I am talking about.

If we try to see gender as a characteristic, rather than a principle that defines one's personality , then we will see the reality- equality.

 

You know if you really love God as I do, you would cherish his gift as if it was your very own life.

How does that make men better than women? I can tell you about alot of women who have won olympic titles. I have one right now, top of my head- Donna DeVarona- Top swimming champion.

So, women are getting olympic medals. WHy is that? because they are able to excel in sports as well. So we have to respect that and if men have alot of chances of getting Olympic titles, then we should encourage women as well to get such titles.

I don't know what you mean by this, I mean men aren't dumb, okay? Gender does not define a person, if it does then we wouldn't have women like mother teresa, etc.

If gender does define a person , then that would mean that the smartest person in the world- who is currently in India right now... is the smartest person on earth because she is a woman. You wouldn't agree with that right?- so gender does not define a personality.

not sure why that was addressed to me...i dont agree that women are in inferior or dont deserve equal rights...everyone deserves equal rights....

and i fully believe in a merit when it comes to jobs/colleges...even if that means jobs were full of asians/women..

but i dont see how someone can categorically say women are more intelligent then men...i just want to know how someone came to that conclusion...
